It is the Bible that tells us about Jesus. How can you worship Jesus without knowing him based on Scripture? Believing the Scripture is what Christians do. Call it idolatry if you will but it is the Scriptures that tell us about Jesus.

I believe in the scripture. I do not claim to know the true nature of God. In doing so and claiming your interpretation of scripture is the only correct one, you are practicing idolatry.

6000 years is what is declared by the Word of God, the inspired Scriptures authored by Jesus, the Eternal Logos, who himself is the one who made Adam and Eve out of the dust of the earth, and who crushed the head of the serpent that had talked in the Garden of Eden.

Jesus taught slaves to be meek and humble and not to rebell. Paul taught slave owners to treat their slaves as Brothers and that we are all equal -bond and free. In no way can inspire mean to breathe out. Notice the prefix "in"? Inspire = breath in, expire = breathe out. (Inhale & exhale, in other words. The prefixes are identical).

Perhaps now you can stop claiming that God's inspired word is identical in meaning to God's breathed out word.

The text says the Scripture is "breathed out by God." Perhaps now you can go look it up and see that this is the case. Theologians still use the term Inspiration to refer to the Scriptures as being breathed out by God. In anycase, whichever term makes you feel groovy, the Book is infallible and it is from God. I am not sure what you are looking at but the term is theopneustos.

what about the universe flood nut? why did it take one day to make the universe but 5 days to make earth and everything when the universe is far more complex than earth is.

The Bible is not a science book, but when it speaks on history and science it is accurate and infallible. God knew more than we know now when he told us explicity how he created the earth. In six days God made all things, visible and invisble. No matter how vast and complex it is, and earth is a minute speck in the whole of the universe, the simple truth is that GOD SPOKE AND IT WAS. The amazing thing is that it took as long as six days, when all He had to to do was speak.

don't know about the particular english translation, it simply means flying airbreating animals. I don't believe modern taxonomy is inspired and infallible.
