How many people would go for this if they could?

Why do you think that somebody disagreeing with you means they want you gone from this earth? Nobody is wishing anything about you, other than you would try and understand them.

And what do you think that people will do any differently when you're gone. I won't be changing a thing about my life and my lifestyle when you're raptured (at least nothing that I am not already trying to change)

Do you wish that everybody who doesn't agree with you would literally go to hell? I doubt that you wish that even if you believe it is what will happen to us.

No, I do not want anybody to go to hell. I am just saying is once the first set of Christians are gone, a lot of the so-called humanity equalization laws can be passed without a hitch or with having to worry about the Biblical morality issue being brought up....for a little while.

Of course, there will be those who thought they were Christians or had been putting it off or even atheists who just need a physical sign to convert that will realize what happened and will give their life to Christ then and will be even more "fanatic" than what is called "fanatic Christians" today.

Nevermind, no matter what, the world will always have to deal with Christians and their old world ways...sorry.

There will be a day when the Atheist religion (yeah I mean religion) and every other non-Christian religion will get their wish and we will be gone from this earth so they can do what they wish (for a little while at least).

You must have missed the first question I asked when responding to my last post...So, why do you think that somebody disagreeing with you means they want you gone from this earth? As far as I can tell, people would simply like you to try and understand them. It's a big leap from that to wishing you gone.

I've never heard of these "humanity equalization laws" you speak of. I'll have to get to the coven more often.

Not worried about Biblical morality though. Just morality. It has all the good bits of morality to be found in the bible, but dumps the...erm...immoral stuff.

I like your "...for a little while" at the end. Good use of tension. Are you Tim Le Haye? Or simply a fan of that wonderful bedtime story for children "Thief In The Night". ;)

Of course, there will be those who thought they were Christians or had been putting it off or even atheists who just need a physical sign to convert that will realize what happened and will give their life to Christ then and will be even more "fanatic" than what is called "fanatic Christians" today.

Of Course! (Why do you say that and expect people to accept it like you've just said "Of course if it starts to rain, things get wet".

Nevermind, no matter what, the world will always have to deal with Christians and their old world ways...sorry.

Obviously you have no reason to be sorry. But you should be trying very hard to make a better case if you genuinely don't want non-believers to go to hell. Not simply saying "this is what is going to happen and if you don't believe me bad things will happen to you".

I'm maybe being a bit flippant at times, for which I am sorry. It's my feeble attempt to try and shock you into thinking. My version of trying to get you saved.

For a small fee I will take all of your sins to Hell with me when I die, and I will even let you decide how much you pay me for each sin, what do you think? let me take the wrap, after all what have you got to lose?
Militant atheism aside, it seems this is a cheap, inexperienced attempt of a joke. Blah! If I pay you enough, would you stay there for good please?

You could copy and paste this as responses to most of her other posts.

That isn't exactly funny though. Well, OK, a little bit.

You do know that if the US ever start mixing with the rest of the world they are going to need to change the name of American football to something a bit more appropriate like American throw ball or American fifty a side ball,
or even American stop and start every five seconds ball.
The reason I say this is because the rest of the world (and I do mean the rest of the world) know what the Americans insist on calling soccer as football, for one silly reason, the ball is kicked with the foot.

That's the best description of the game I've heard yet, and that totally made me chuckle.
I am a fan of Rugby Union (there are two codes, Union and League) so when I see American football on the television with those overpaid overweight and over protected players standing around waiting for something to happen it's plain to see why they call them 'five second athletes'.

Religions do seem to rely on force in numbers don't they, like little gangs that all children want to join,
but the joke is on you for even thinking about taking it seriously, relax not everyone is out to get you.

I was replying to what you said about me,
'your ability to hold a mature and meaningful conversation is minimal'
what would you have said if someone had said that to you?

I'd examine what I'd been saying to see if, perhaps, they had a point.

Or, if I'd been intentionally being immature and playful, probably say "Thank you. My work here is done. HAHAHAHA!!!!" and then post a picture of a panda blasting a hole through a knight with a rainbow.

Could you please explain the meanings of the words 'metaphysical construct'.

I can explain that easily: a metaphysical construct is something such as a religion, a philosophy, an ethical system, superstition, moral code, or any other metasystem that we use to interpret our physical reality. For instance, in Ayn Rand's philosophy the metaphysical construct used is "objective reality," meaning that existence independent of perception - your computer exists regardless of your perceptions. By contrast, Platonic metaphysics would say that physical reality is a pale reflection of archetypal ideal forms that exist of reality - your computer is an imperfect version of the form "computer." Kabbalistic metaphysics would state that reality is a unified whole which we only perceive as separated so that we may examine the parts to understand the whole - your computer exists so that you may understand it as a metaphor for a larger reality.

In other words, metaphysical constructs are systems of assigning metadata to our perceptions of the world surrounding us, much like the Dewey Decimal System is a system of assigning metadata to books, or the tagging system on forums is a way of assigning metadata to threads.

I like green better, but I can't produce it like I can blue.

Are we talking about the same thing? I think we are, but as I'm woefully decaffeinated from my normal condition I'm not sure.

I think we have no choice other than to interpret what we see around us using the data we are given by our senses,
if we start imagining things that do not register with our senses we are only confusing the issue.

Religion, a philosophy, an ethical system, superstition, moral code, all stem from our minds and our imaginations, they are constructs that serve to organise and help us lead more harmonious lives, developed over many years through interaction with each other the outcome of which has been handed down from generation to generation to help make life a little more comfortable for everyone, we don't need to stop imagining things all we need do is remember they are imaginings and nothing else.

I am not an academic so all of the above was not very well explained but I hope you understand what I am trying to say.

This might sum it up even better: That that is is that that is not is not is not that it it is.
just add the punctuation and it will make sense.
