I believe the number will be very small. No real data to represent it but (1-5%). Mainly Matthew 7:13 comes to mind concerning the way is narrow that leads to salvation and few travel it.

Its saddening knowing that not only in this life are People without God and the joy and love and peace that He brings to use here..but for the rest of Eternity they will either be Separated.

Its even more saddening realizing that people WANT to be without God. I heard an interesting talk about Paul Washer on Election and he made a point where if God opened the gates and just said "if you want to be with Me, just come in" and every human would walk about because without God opening our hearts and drawing near to us we would hate Him and everything He stands for. It was shocking but revealed so much truth.

Thinking of this subject burdens me and should burden the church to Preach the Gospel to everyone. Especially to those who have not heard the name of the Lord but also to these calloused lukewarm Christians. We also should have more ministries on college campus, rural outreaches, inner city. It saddens me and as I develop a deeper relationship with Christ the more I want to reach these souls.

Sorry for my rant. But yes. Very few will follow the narrow path to Heaven, and many will take the easy road to Hell, but not because God is making them but because they decided thats what they'd prefer.

Rant over. Sorry.

Iesous says that the person that rejects him, that person will likewise be rejected by him. So if a head count were done today on how people are proChrist or how many are antiChrist, we may be surprized at the actual number. In Noah's day there were only eight souls saved out of the whole world. And Iesous asks this question, "When I come again, will I find faith on earth?"

I find this topic very depressing. My soul aches for how many people are godless today. I also can't help but think of myself in this. What if I am deceived and not truly following the Lord?? It does sadden me to think so many people will end up in hell forever. It is horrifying. Life sometimes feels like a curse.

There will be no one in heaven (John 3:13.)

John 3:13

New International Version (NIV)

13 No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven—the Son of Man.[a]

God himself will bring his reward out of heaven (rev 21) so our ultimate destination is the new Jerusalem on the new earth.

Revelation 21
New International Version (NIV)

A New Heaven and a New Earth

21 Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,”[a] for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. 2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.

"...were darkened"

Is my point and theme, regardless of mistakes... they don't know.

The passage makes it clear that what darkening occurred in the hearts of people was the result of their knowing of God but refusing to glorify Him as God. The darkening of the hearts of people came about by their own thoughts and actions, not through the forcible action of another.

The bible is clear that they are actually blinded, ask around... they don't know and don't believe. It will be a terrible terrible surprise.

This isn't what the passage I cited says. What blinding may occur is the consequence of a rejection of the light God has given. (see also Jn. 3:17-20)

and even if they did... All mighty God had so little affect on his wayward children, almost none were saved (relatively speaking)

This is a testament to the rebellion and hardness of humanity, not some impotence on God's part. He will not force us to love Him - nor should He.

and... it really doesn't matter, as you look down into hell at 90-95% of humanity burning their fault will not ease your heart or keep you from vomiting at the horror and disgust.

I don't intend to spend time looking down into hell. I'm sure I'll have much better things to do. I am also sure that, when I see Jesus face-to-face, I will understand the perfect justice God has enacted in sending people to hell. I will not grieve over the lost as someone who feels an injustice had been done upon them. I will know they are exactly where they ought to be. This side of eternity, however, I am gravely concerned for the eternal destiny of those within my social sphere. I do all I can to urge them toward God both in my words and deeds. The prospect of any of them dying as an unbeliever is deeply disturbing to me. How about you? What are you doing to spread the Gospel to the unsaved?

Selah.

What percentage of humanity that has existed do you think will be in heaven at the end?

Considering that you generally either have to have been a Jew before before Christ died or you had to be born again after Christ died.

What percantage of the human race that has and will exist will be in heaven?

According to some estimates it seems like heaven may be pretty much empty, just lots and lots of angels.

With Heaven being approx. 1500 miles wide/long/AND high...there is plenty of room . But like the Bible says :'NARROW is the road that leads to eternal life which few find' .

People groups going would be : O.T. Jews and Gentiles , N.T. Jews and Gentiles , those new Converts that come out of the Tribulation Period , and all unborn children who've died plus children who've died before reaching the age of accountability.

One more on the way. My brother, who has been a very intellectual Athiest all his life, has been confessing that Jesus is Lord (long story, too long and intricate to post here). In fact I'm going to PM at the other place because I would like to ask you how I can encourage him better.

My points were and are that even if the people did make mistakes, they still do not know and they are blind and their hearts are dark, they do not know...and even if fault was ultimately not God's, it doesn't change the fact that God succeeded in saving so few, neither does it change that those are people no different than you and me and it was not our goodness that brought us to know God.

By loving him, smiling upon him and listening to him with open ears and care, and asking the Lord to protect him and watch over him. Your love and care mean more than anything else, God get's the work done we are just sources of encouragement and love and maybe an occasional point in the right direction.

The actual change is done by God.

and do not think that you have to be able to answer every question he has, accept that it is perfectly possible that you may not be able to answer all his concerns, do not simplify them or undermine to think that "certainly" you know the answers :) it is entirely possible that his problems or concerns require something bigger, stronger and more loving than us, it's ok to let him know that his concerns are so important that we cannot fully answer them, just keep praying and trust and encourage him that God does know and can answer them.

There are things you will never be able to teach him or accomplish for him, so we must pray, prayer to God breaches the gap between where our abilities end and where God begins. Sometimes it is more important that we pray than we get a chance to say anything. When we feel that we have to do something, have to say something... sometimes it is better than we simply pray, our words can fail us and others, prayer cannot. It is not so important that he know what we think, it is important that God be able to act and that he be able to receive from God and prayer does this.... as much as we'd like to be and we try to be, God is the true shepherd.

ALL

(its the BIGGEST 3 letter word in the Bible! and its incredible if you simply believe)

Consequently, just as the result of one trespass was condemnation for all men, so also the result of one act of righteousness was justification that brings life for all men. Romans 5:18

For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. 1 Cor 15:22

1 Timothy 4:10: that we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, and especially of those who believe.

Heaven is TOO LARGE...
And its the place where every knee bows...
And every tongue confesses! Romans 14:11

GOD gets HIS way in the end!
And I couldn't be more in JOY and PEACE!
Wonderful, Complete, Amazing GRACE...
And it all starts here!

It is a very long video and covers many things. Included is that if God never drew close to us we'd not draw close to Him. So 'if' He opened the Gates of Heaven without drawing close to anyone and said "Come on in if you want to" then the entire human race would slam the door and walk straight into Hell.

There was the "drawing close to them" part that I was missing.

The percentage, no one knows, and anyone wo claims to know is a liar. I do believe that those who will be in heaven at the end are THOSE who DO THE WILL OF THE FATHER, as JESUS said. Narrow is the Gate to Heaven and wide is the gate to hell.

You either believe in what Jesus said or you don't. And if you dont believe in what Jesus said, then you make Him out to be a liar, and then how can you claim to even love or know Him if you don't believe in the word that comes out of His mouth. (not you personally but just saying generally)

Matthew 7:21
"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven"[/B
]

What percantage of the human race that has and will exist will be in heaven?

ONLY those who do the will of the Father, as Jesus said. And of course, it includes having giving their lives to Christ and accepted Him as LORD and SAVIOUR. PLUS they are doing the will of the Father

GOD is merciful, Kind and gracious. He is extending that to a lot of people. Many seem to not take it seriously just like in the days of Noah before God flooded the earth and there were only Noah and His family. I'm sure many back then also dismissed the idea of God and more-so dismissed that when God says something, He means it.

We are seeing that more and more today as well, many who encourage sinful lifestyles and call themselves Christians, also many who dont even want to hear the name Jesus being mentioned where they are. Many atheist who think Christians are fools and just worshipping thin air.

There is a lot of deception going around, and its going to get worse. Those who know to tighten their belts and buckles and know that God's words do not fall to the ground. Everything that comes out of His mouth will BE accomplished , not a single one will fall to the ground.

I have had a revelation/dream of something similar to apocalypse or mini rapture before. Its not very good for those who are not in Christ. Really not good. It breaks my heart a lot for many especially some of my own family.
