We all have our individual styles.

All I have to do is show up in a thread and say something, and the next thing you know, I've "hijacked" it.

If by "Good," you mean making yourself popular and well-known in the world, then I'd agree... otherwise, not sure what you're boasting about... there's nothing in anything you've said here that shows you've actually helped anything.

I would not say that anyone has turned me away form god. There is nothing there to be turned away from. I dont know that anyone here has made me MORE convinced of that, but they sure didnt make me less.

It does seem like if god is real, and all the answers are there in the book, and that following the book would be sensible and the ideas would make sense.

That sure is not what I see.

If fundamentalism is as portrayed here, that is just about the last place on earth I'd go to look for some sort of wisdom. I just dont see it at all!

I see a lot of pride in ignorance, a lot of mean spiritedness, a lot of self serving egoism.

I also see that it they have the Truth and god on their side, then it should be easy with calm factual information to show how there really was a flood, how evolution is wrong, etc. I mean, if any of this were true, wouldnt there be a fact or two to back it up? But there isnt. When they attack science, its never with facts, its always distortions and made up stuff.

I see Christians being exhorted to "get with the program". Meaning, i guess, to continue and intensify that.

Not a program that I would ever ever ever get with, myself.

If you choose not to look, that's your business... but if the possibility exists that you are, in fact, doing more harm than good, isn't it your own vanity that stops you from seeking the truth?

I don't know --- but now, all you have to do is wait for someone to make the remark that all you do with your posts is make enemies.

Then you could point out your FRIEND'S LIST as an effective counter-point.

Just like when someone new shows up and tells me I didn't say this, or did say that --- I can point out my POST COUNT as an effective counter-point.

(I could also QV them to the actual post where I did say this or that --- but I get turned off quick when newbies pull that junk.)

Even though most of my posts consist of numbers, they don't know that.
