She is said to be a prophet by Seventh Day Adventists but not by Catholics. Her visions and books are of no special value to me. Her predictions are of no value to me. Her rampant anti-catholicism is of no value to me. In short she matters to you but not to me. And her books are highly prized by you but they are dross to me.
Therefore, you must say the same of all the prophets of Scripture, for they also taught as much. In their writings, and as in hers, the same is given.
In fact, the Great Controversy is the very inspired commentary on Daniel/Revelation/Matthew 24-25, Mark 13, Luke 21, 2 Thessalonians 2, etc.
It begins with the First Trumpet - the Destruction of Jerusalem, and continues in the historic until today, and even yet beyond to the days to soon come.
To leave off from her, is to leave off from John, or Daniel, or Malachi, or Isaiah, etc, Paul, even Jesus the -Prophet- [Deut. 18:15] himself. it is to relegate to nothingness the history that Prophecy so clearly foretold.
Even as they foretold the great rebellion and apostasy of the physical Israel, the Jewish religion [though there was always a remnant], they also foretold likewise the great rebellion and apostasy of the Spiritual Israel, the Christian one [so too a remnant].
The Jews also [greatly] rejected John the Baptist, they spurned the Law of God [they of the Torah and Tanakh, including and especially the Ten Commandments, replacing with many traditions of men [Corban, etc.]] and they [greatly] rejected Jesus and persecuted those who accepted Him.
Many are doing the same today.
I know Rome believes in visionaries, but it amazes me, what 'visionaries' they believe in [I know, as I used to work, very briefly, for a Roman Catholic ministry that dealt exclusively in such 'saints' of Rome], and amazes me more the one they reject.
The true prophets have always thus been rejected for the reproofs sent from God to those they were sent unto.
The titanic system of Roman Catholicism, was given space to repent [1,260 years, see Rev 2:21]. She didn't and will not yet still.
