I used to 'live' for coming home and watching hockey highlights on Sportscenter/NHL2night after my second-shift job. Then I got the internet and decided I couldn't afford cable AND the net (unfortunately I still have dial-up) so I got rid of the cable. I really don't miss it. You find other things to do. I've toyed with the idea of getting it again along with the high-speed internet but it's just way too expensive for me right now. I need to save up for a new car. I guess it's all about your priorities.

I would move pretty much anywhere. Of course, I'm a traveller so my issue is left moving..it's more the staying. After two years or so, I get angsty.

I'd agree with what tenorvoice initially said and whomever else said that they'd let God guide and direct their paths...I'm the same way ...but family's wayyy important as well so...that's also something to consider *considers it*

It would have to be one incredible girl and God telling me to go because I can't see myself living anywhere but where I'm at now.

My family, while they annoy me at times, is very important to me and all live in the general area. A number of friends also live nearby. It would be very difficult to pick up and leave that.

Considering I just moved back to Oregon last summer to be closer to my family, I'd rather not move more than a few hours away! Of course, if I found someone and we had to move later, that would be another matter and entirely fine.

It's funny even with 300 channels, sometimes "nothing is on" (worth watching anyway)! I mainly watch reruns of old shows and the Weather Channel. With DVR you can watch 1 program while you are simultaneously recording 2 other programs and have picture in a picture! But I guess I could get along without cable. After all, there is DirecTV satellite and NFL Sunday Ticket (as an alternative!) But I don't know if they offer DVR

I once moved 1800 miles so that I was only living 8 miles from my boyfriend.

Nowadays I'm not so foot-loose and fancy-free. I am more of a planner. It would depend on how willing he would be to sacrifice for me. Now it's not just how much I like someone.

It's more of the question of are WE in LOVE with EACHOTHER! At that point.. if I had a ring on my finger, I'd go anywhere. No more, "well, I'll see if it works out and if it doesn't oh well, at least I had an adventure" moves!

If I was sure that my future wife was overseas and God was directing me there, then I would pack up my stuff and go for sure. Otherwise I think I'm following God's plan for me in just staying put living with mum and dad here in western Sydney.

I've been blessed (cursed??) with wanderlust, so I've never had an issue picking up and moving. I don't become attached to places. I would move anywhere for a man with whom I was in love and married. I would hope, however, that he would want to move to Canada, or Scotland, or Ireland, or England.

No prospects here either, but I'm not going anywhere even if I did...I'd have to ask the ex's permission to relocate as I'm already as far from him as I can get with the kids now per the custody agreement (it was an abusive situation).
