Starting to Get Better

Last time I posted, I posted about how I’m struggling with finding a job and finding love. One of the two might’ve just been answered. I’m starting a business that has a lot of promise and I hope that it will be my first step to being ready to find love.

Please pray for my business to do well, brothers and sisters. Also, if any single women are willing to at least talk to me, I’d be happy with you DMing me. It most likely won’t get far, but it’s great practice for talking for both of us.

That is great you're starting a business. You'll accomplish so much w/ that. For yourself & others too. Truly you are blessed. Your work is your gift & passion, nurture & baby that. A wife will come along according to God's time perhaps as you are busy with your work, but don't be consumed by the want now by God's grace

Seek ye first the kingdom of God & his righteousness.

Congratulations on the venture. May the Lord prosper the work of your hands. Focus on the business and give it your full attention. It will require more time than you’re aware of and prospects will be distracting. When you’re struggling in this area there’s a hunger that exists and emotional torrents. Most don’t marry the first person they meet and you have to ask yourself a difficult question.

Can you weather the ups of downs of dating while running a business? You don’t have a buffer and you’ll have to show up whether you’re in the mood or not. You show up when you’re sad, upset, depressed, etc. The way you determine your ability to do so is to recollect what you’ve done in the past. If you stayed in bed or spent the day moping that’s probably how you’ll respond.

Most men in your circumstances would tell you the same. Build the business and work on yourself and find her afterward. You’ll have more opportunities and be more confident.
