Just to correct my fellow Canadian's (timothyu) description of Canada: Our healthcare is abysmal. One must often wait many months for medical procedures that are critical. My Dad nearly died waiting for heart by-pass surgery. Folks in my church, crippled by severe joint pain, are typically waiting more than a year for orthopaedic surgery. And the average Canadian does not have access to the very best surgeons and specialists available in the country. If one does not live near these medical experts, one is referred to a less skilled doctor or surgeon in one's area. Some of them are quite awful, leaving their patients in worse condition than when they first encountered them.
Canadian taxes are becoming obscene - especially for those who are wealthy and create jobs for many others. The outrageous federal carbon tax has been rejected by five provinces so far, the premiers of each promising to repeal the tax as quickly as possible. Our Prime Minister is an idiot of epic proportions, a radical SJW with a god-complex, virtue signaling at every turn and pushing Canada aggressively toward socialist communism. He has humiliated himself on the international stage and angered a great many Canadians.
Canada, then, is not a country to emulate. We have a good many social and political problems, not least of which is the incredible antagonism of the government to anything Judeo-Christian. We've recently got hate speech laws that for the first time in all of British Commonwealth history dictate to Canadians not just what they must not say but what they must say. And so it goes.
