missjeffrey said:I feel as though I have been a practicing Christian for almost a year now, but a person who has helped me along the journey told me that if I were saved, I would know the exact hour minute second of my salvation. For me this is a difficult concept, because I feel as though my life has changed considerably since I began reading/comprehending the Bible and various other Christian instructive books and I feel the Holy Spirit flowing through me all of the time. But I never "noted" the exact moment, through prayer or any action, that I have been "saved" Is the concept of salvation different for everyone, because even on this website you are given the option to type in the date of your salvation. I'm an introverted person so I can't imagine myself breaking down crying or speaking in tongues at the moment of salvation. Basically I am confused about this concept of time.
Everyone has a different experiance of salvation. Put all your faith in Christ and you will be saved. Look at the bible verse in Mark that talks about if you ask God for anything, and with faith it will happen, it will be surley given to you. Why not ask for God to put your name in the book of life? Then believe with all your heart, and trust Christ's payment for your sins, and you are saved at that very moment.
