And what is it exactly that you think of God's Word?
What did Jesus say to the people who wanted to stone the woman caught in adultery?
Great minds think alike. Try giving MrPirate a rating sometime, and see what happens.....
Dear Dr. Dobson:
My cat fell asleep on my copy of "The History of the Synoptic Tradition." He has been neutered, but I am still afraid he might have caught Teh Ghey by contact. Is there anything I can do to prevent this?

Don't you want to discuss it?Then both you and CRAZYLIZ need to slow your rolls and stop making natural conclusions. I will say exactly what I intend to say in order to save you guys the unneeded burden of me having to correct ya.
God's Word speaks quite elegantly as to why the sexual immorality is taking place. If you don't like what HE says about this being the result of folks suppressing the truth, make an appointment with Him to discuss it.
Nice questions, and highly relevant to God's Truth (as opposed to what Zaac wants us to think is true).
But I'll bet you 5,000 blessings against 100 of your own that if anyone answers the quoted question before this post goes up, they will only quote the second half of what He said -- and focus on "sin no more."
There's some perverse condition among some people that makes them unwilling to allow that God might grant forgiveness to anyone else or on different terms than they themelves would. (In some circles, this is called having a carnal spirit.)
Dear Mrs. catlover:
Recent research at the FNM Institute has revealed that these passages all mean that Homosexuality is bad.

What did Jesus mean when he used a Samaritan as an example of Christlike behavior?

Beat them into submission. Flog the truth into them. Harrass them until they change their mind.
(Some of the things my pastor said that wouldn't work to bring someone to Christ.)
If Jesus were walking the Earth today, you can bet he would be hanging out with homosexuals, people with AIDS, people suffering from depression, and other "undesirables" of the world.
And fundamentalists would be calling for his death.
So predictable!! they ALWAYS do that. Like they cannot let anyone enjoy five seconds of feeling unconditional love and pure acceptance in Him before they have to start trying to drag everyone back under their subtle version of legalism / old covenant / a.k.a. "behavioral modification program for the flesh" all over again. MISERY LOVES COMPANY!!!! They can't MAKE themselves be perfect and they want everyone else to experience the same terror and stress over it that they do.But I'll bet you 5,000 blessings against 100 of your own that if anyone answers the quoted question before this post goes up, they will only quote the second half of what He said -- and focus on "sin no more."

Don't forget prostitutes, nutcases and daimonizomai.
God LOVES His afflicted ones. He cares for Us.

Now see... "do unto others" would come in handy here. How do Christians feel when atheists do that to them?
Case closed.
Why would fundamentalists do that!?
Why would Christ hang around these people? BECAUSE THEY'RE SINNERS IN NEED OF HIM, THEIR SAVIOR!
You act as if we hate these people..if that were the case we woldn't care. Why try to get them to stop sinning? If we don't, they'll burn in hell and be punished forever. If we didn't like them, wouldn't we want this?
But rather, we attempt to teach the truth in love. Granted, sometimes the love is out of the equation, but all too often the liberals automatically claim there is no love because of the truth. That's their unorthodox error.
What did Jesus say to the woman caught in adultery? Wasn't it go and sin no more, not sin all you want
I be thinking he meant what He said, it is the sick that needs a doctor.
Well lets see since he told the story of the good Samaritan after being ask who our neighbors are...........the person who ask the question was ask after Jesus told the story who he thought the neighbor was, and he answered the one who showed mercy.
So is it merciful to warn someone of hell? Is it merciful to try and keep someone from going there by explaining that we all need forgiveness so we won't end up there?
Sorry but the scriptures mean that all sin and need forgiveness, and that because of the mercy and grace of our Lord we can all have it. IMHO. The only thing that homosexuality has in common with these passages is that it is just one of the sins that some need forgiveness from.

Why do so many think science and experience top Godly things?I have heard so many say if it can be proved by science then they believe it, no matter what God says.
Whatever happened to faith in God and His Word?
Whatever happened to God, said it that settles it?
Hope you are having a blessed day.
An interesting thought here: my pastor told me about a study that shows a gay-sex experience changes a person's thought processes. I don't know the full extent of it though.
If you REALLY cared you would NOT attempt to bind them eternally to the futility of "trying to stop sinning." NO ONE CAN JUST "STOP SINNING". If they could they would not need a Saviour. Shades of Paul's rebuke to the Galatians here, anyone?1 You foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? Before your very eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed as crucified. 2 I would like to learn just one thing from you: Did you receive the Spirit by observing the law, or by believing what you heard? 3A re you so foolish? After beginning with the Spirit, are you now trying to attain your goal by human effort? 4 Have you suffered so much for nothingif it really was for nothing? 5 Does God give you his Spirit and work miracles among you because you observe the law, or because you believe what you heard? 6 Consider Abraham: "He believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness."[a] 7 Understand, then, that those who believe are children of Abraham. 8 The Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham: "All nations will be blessed through you."[b] 9 So those who have faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith.
10 All who rely on observing the law are under a curse, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law."[c] 11 Clearly no one is justified before God by the law, because, "The righteous will live by faith."That bes your unorthodox error -- toxic soteriology what drives honest souls to despair before hope ever gets born -- and that of your kith.

15"If your brother sins against you, go and show him his fault, just between the two of you. If he listens to you, you have won your brother over. 16But if he will not listen, take one or two others along, so that 'every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.' 17If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, treat him as you would a pagan or a tax collector.
18"I tell you the truth, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. 19"Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. 20For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them."
