That does not inform mankind on what is in store from today to the great white throne judgment. The 70 ad view compacts what God has to say about the future of mankind from right now to the great white throne judgment into silence.God has told us and some of us know. He has shown you, o man, what is good and what theLord desires of...but to do justly and to love mercy...and to walk humbly with your God.
That does not sound good. The 70 ad view compacts what God has to say about the future of mankind from right now to the great white throne judgment into silence.
The Lord is about to do His worst:Revelation describes, for the most part, the events that happened in 70 AD. They will never be repeated.
Now do your worst.
prophecy again....Revelation describes, for the most part, the events that happened in 70 AD. They will never be repeated.
Now do your worst.
Simply, by becoming as little children....How can we really understand what the prophets are telling us?
That’s what it says...never to be repeatedprophecy again....
Then you didn't read this...That’s what it says...never to be repeated
It’s surprising how people who claim to follow Christ take pleasure in thinking horrible things are about to happen. They simply refuse to believe anything but death and terrible destruction is near. The Lord is about to do His worst:
Isaiah 42:14-15 Long have I restrained Myself, I kept silence and held Myself in check. I shall lay waste to mountain and hill, dry up the trees and fields. I shall dry up the rivers and empty the lakes.
The Lord is about to act once again in His creation – The Lord’s Day of vengeance and fiery wrath - the next prophesied worldwide event, the Sixth Seal. The first of a series of judgements and punishments to His enemies and blessings to His faithful Christian people, Isaiah 44:1-3, leading to the culmination of this age – the Return of Jesus.
Isaiah 42:11-17 The Lord will go forth as a warrior; He will shout His battle cry and will triumph over His enemies.
I will guide the blind along unfamiliar paths and will make the way smooth for them. But those who do not trust Me, they will be put to shame.
Isaiah 42:10-12 Sing a new song to the Lord – throughout the world, you on the seas and you that inhabit the coasts and islands. Let all people give glory to the Lord!
This is the gathering and settling of His faithful Christian people into all of the holy Land.
Isaiah42:18-20 Hear now: you deaf people, you My servants that are blind: look and see! Who is so blind as My servants? So deaf as the messengers that I send? You have seen much, but perceived little. Your ears are open but you hear nothing.
The Lord’s servants: every faithful Christian, all those who love Him and obey His Laws, fail to see or listen to the truths that are prophesied about these end times.
Why is this?
Isaiah 29:9-12 If you confuse yourselves, you will stay confused. For the Lord has poured on you a spirit of deep stupor, the prophetic vision of it all has become like the words in a sealed book.
How can we really understand what the prophets are telling us?
2 Peter 1:19 We have the word of the prophets, you do well to pay attention to it, as a light shining in a dark place and when the day dawns, it will illuminate your minds.
Isaiah 29:22-24 This is no time for Jacob to be afraid, when they see what I will do for them, they will regard their God with awe. The confused will gain understanding and the obstinate will accept instruction.
Jacob/Israel and Joseph; now refer to every faithful Christian person. Galatians 3:26-29
So, it may not be until after the Lord has acted against His enemies, that His people will finally realize and understand His plans and purposes for them. Psalms 60:1-5
Zechariah 10:6-12 I shall give triumph and victory to Judah and Joseph and in My compassion, I shall restore them as though I had never cast them off. My people will see and be glad, for I will deliver them. I will whistle to call them in and they will be as many as they used to be. Though dispersed among the nations and yet in far off lands, they will remember Me. I shall bring them home from wherever they are and will lead them into all the holy Land, until there is no more room. Their strength will be in God, they will march proudly in His Name. Ref: REB, some verses abridged
The Lord’s Christian people are gathered and settled into their own Land, after He judges and punishes His enemies. Jeremiah 12:14-17, Ezekiel 20:34-38, Isaiah 11:11-12
Unfortunately these events will come as a surprise to the secular world and to many Bible believers. Why should you be shocked and taken unawares by them?
Uh, this shows John was relatively young when he wrote it, not old. Then you didn't read this...
Revelation 10:11
And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.
It does if one understands the prophets. That does not inform mankind on what is in store from today to the great white throne judgment.
No it doesn’t. It opens up the whole of the prophets. The 70 ad view compacts what God has to say about the future of mankind from right now to the great white throne judgment into silence.
If it is, how much have you seen in your neighborhood? The world is full of violence and suffering.
If true, it’s makes the Europeans pretty smart and the Yanks pretty dumb. You are living in Europe, enjoying the benefit of the United States paying for and providing a big part of Europe's defense - while Europe pays nothing for the United States defense.
Stationed in Germany with the military sound like. Hum, that means some 25 years ago plus. Not up to date.I personally lived in Germany for 2 1/2 years, and disagree with what you say.
I guessed right, but it was only after the second WW.The reason I was there, I was in the army occupying Germany as the result of two World Wars starting in Europe.
If that your measure of the best place to live, it’s unusual.I have also lived in Alaska for 20 years, and can tell you there is much more public land in the United States to freely fish and go on adventures on, where a person doesn't see another person for three weeks, while in Europe where every tree is numbered.
And there aren’t muslims in the US?? I read about US schools taking school children on a walk so they can pretend their on the journey to Mecca. Schools in Germany have Christmas plays that talk about Jesus and don’t care if the Muslims don’t like it. We don’t have droves of Christians home schooling, the schools are so bad. There is a big time muslim invasion problem in Europe which has called a back lash to nationalism.
Will you be terribly disappointed if not?The EU is going to become the Kingdom of the beast, and Switzerland paradise Europe, is going to be right in the middle of it.
Hoe much violence in your neighborhood? If it’s full, there should be some there every week. But setting all that aside, the world is full of violence, and certainly is not moving in the direction of becoming the kingdom of God.
Yhe opposite is true. The whole of the Bible makes sense and it speaks lordly. The 70 ad view discards what God has to say about the future of mankind, all the way to end of the age, and attempts to make God silent.
Ok, you prefer the destruction viewpoint. It’s too bad but so it is.But God is not silent. Revelation applies to our day, because the prophecies are geared to when knowledge and travel are increased in Daniel 12:7, time of the end. Jesus is the apha and omega, the beginning and end of this present earth.
Enough. If it is, how much have you seen in your neighborhood?
Go to You Tube - type in "Muslim no go zones". There are plenty of video's of the problem in Europe. And there aren’t muslims in the US?? He wasn’t referring to the violence but referring to normal life going on and said so. The second coming will have NO SIGNS same as the flood has no signs.Enough.
Matthew 24:37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Genesis 6:11 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.
Matthew 24:38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
That’s cause if you lived in Europe you’d otherwise never hear of them, they’re so rare. One needs to read the US hate Europe propaganda to know about it.Go to You Tube - type in "Muslim no go zones". There are plenty of video's of the problem in Europe.
Uh, this shows John was relatively young when he wrote it, not old.
When John penned the Revelation of JC, he was still young enough to still travel and preach and so on after he left Patmos. It doesn't suggest John's age at all. John was an old man no matter what dating one uses for Rev anyways.
