What she can do and what she wishes she could do are two different things. We know that. But we take what she said seriously
Ah, quit yer pearl clutching. She's not going to do it. And everyone knows it.

-- A2SG, manufactured outrage is kinda Faux News' stock in trade.....

Who is claiming that she proposed a law?
All the pearl clutchers who keep whining about Hilary wanting to deprogram everyone!!!

It's manufactured outrage. It's Fox News calling the shots, and all the loyal faithful following right in line.

-- A2SG, you'd think a 787.5 million dollar judgment would have taught them a lesson, but not so much....

Everyone who is a capitalist, anti-abortion, pro-family, pro-border wall, and pro-freedom of speech would be included as a 'far-right extremist."
That is about half the population, if not more.
It is not so bad that she said such a thing, it is that virtually nobody on the left condemned the statement. In fact, some supported it just as they have here.
Probably because no one else took it seriously. Just those who heard Fox News manufacture outrage over it, and started clutching their pearls in protest.

Come on! Does anyone actually believe Hilary would propose a deprogramming law? I doubt even Hannity believes that!

-- A2SG, I mean, we know for a FACT Fox News lies to it's audience, haven't you guys picked up on that yet?

Why post falsehoods?
That is about half the population, if not more.
How is it that nearly 300 replies in, there is confusion as to who Secretary Clinton was referring?
It is not so bad that she said such a thing, it is that virtually nobody on the left condemned the statement. In fact, some supported it just as they have here.
Some people actually listened to what she said instead of LARPing outrage at something she never did.

We live in a capitalist society. I readily accept how things work - people make things that I want to buy and if I can afford them then I buy them. Nothing wrong with that definition of capitalism, so include me as a capitalist in that sense. And I would prefer if no abortions were carried out. I'd support any policy that persuaded women not to have one. Guess that makes me anti-abortion. Almost everyone I know, including my kids are part of your usual run-of-the-mill families. I think they're great. So I put me down as pro family as well. And don't get me started on freedom of speech!

I'm about as far from a far right extremist as you can possibly be. Pigeonholing people is never a good idea.

Exactly right. Never have so many pearls been grasped so tightly by so many for so little reason.

No. that is wrong. She was talking about a small group in the House holding a larger number of Republicans "by the tail".
She is not talking about capitolists as she is one herself, as most of the left is. It is not about the wall or frreedom of speech or abortion. She was addressing the fact that a small group doesn't even want to work with the Dems.
It is not so bad that she said such a thing, it is that virtually nobody on the left condemned the statement. In fact, some supported it just as they have here.
I really didn't hear anyone on the right condemn Trump for his "lock her up" statements at his rally's and copying the attitudes by the right in this thread, I have to assume you all just want to lock up all of the left. No crime needed.

I will ask again.....I am curious, though, if Hillary's off the cuff comment brings up fears of deprogramming camps and brainwashing for the opposition, what should Democrats have thought when Trump was calling for Hillary to be locked up? When he wants an honorable soldier, General Milley, executed for criticizing him?
Does he want all the left jailed or executed?

It seems some just are easily triggered? Or subsist on faux outrage?

Makes me wonder.

It's Pavlovian. Fox News rings the bell, and the faithful do what's expected of them.

-- A2SG, I guess that kind of blind obedience is worth $787.5 million bucks.....

Enough has been said out loud, in addition to Hillary's disclosure, to where that's hardly far fetched. They can't very well go on about others being a threat to national security cult, while claiming they mean them no ill will.
Another post long on wild accusations, short on quotes of these alleged whoevers saying whatever it is we're being told to be very very upset about.

By who, specifically? Can you quote them saying this is their definition, whoever them is in this empty accusation?

Quotes are a series of words surrounded by pair of these : "
It is used to denote that particular series of words was spoken or written in exactly that order by the person who is claimed to have said them.

It is used in posts wishing to demonstrate that claims about what a person said are in fact what they actually said and not complete fabrications.

I've taken some screenshots from a Twitter thread with the sort of mentality towards Donald is being seen a cult-like.

You're getting really off topic with these convoluted critiques.

No worries there, because NO ONE IS CREATING ANY SUCH LAW!!!!

No one's thinking about actually creating any such law either.

-- A2SG, there is a difference between "Maybe there needs to be" and actually creating a law.....
Since I never said anyone was creating a law, that post makes no sense. You might as well write no one said anything about a snipe hunt in all caps.

It's manufactured outrage. It's Fox News calling the shots, and all the loyal faithful following right in line.

After the pre-impeachment hearing flop, the rightwing squawkboxes needed something to shout about. This story is pretty thin gruel, but it's all they have, apparently.
