I think it's Nathan. They keep showing that lavender shirt with the sleeve turned up and the watch -- it looks like Nathan's arm to me.

You have to remember that Claire's biological father has to be someone her mom could get in touch with. Sylar doesn't make sense - "oh, I'll just ring him up in the secure location he's at!" Nathan would be interesting though.

I think that the sleeve is an obvious red herring. I actually think that HRG could be her bio dad. That is why he is so overprotective. I think he had an affair with this woman and when she wound up pregnant, and the baby had abilities, he wanted to protect her at all costs. He let the mom believe the baby dies, she went off on her merry way with her life, and he has a "miraculous" baby that fell into their lap to adopt. Mighty convenient if you ask me...I think it's Nathan. They keep showing that lavender shirt with the sleeve turned up and the watch -- it looks like Nathan's arm to me.
But that is just my theory...I'm probably wrong. Maybe it's Linderman!!!

That is a pretty reasonable deduction, Nanee. I had thought of that as a possibility as well. Also thought they might have her father be Sylar just for the insanity of it.

In the previews they said, "You've met her mom. Now wait till you see who her dad is" and they show this lavenderish dress shirt sleeve with the cuff rolled up - that's what everyone is speculating about, because supposedly that sleeve belongs to her dad.
I don't have my recording anymore and I know you can't watch online because you're in Canada, so I'll go see if I can load the last chapter and give you a rundown of what you missed.

Okay, well you saw Claire talking to her dad, and him noticing the windchimes right? And you saw her talking to her mom on the phone, the dirty chick from Nip/Tuck (and LJ's mom on Prison Break, and the hot teacher on Boston Public ).
I think you saw the psychiatrist talking to Niki and telling her she needed to talk to Jessica, which she finally agreed to do.
You saw Micah come home and dump hundreds of bills from his backpack, which he'd gotten by "fixing" all the ATMs in town. (Now that's an ability! )
Did you see Hiro and Ando in the limo where they meet up with George Takei, Hiro's daddy? That was pretty cool. There even sub-titled Hiro's gulp.
So it ends with HRG in the cell seeing the doctor on the table instead of Sylar. He turns around and there's Sylar with some kind of probe sticking out of his skull. He looks at HRG and asks, "How's Claire?"
Roll credits.
Now that I've watched it again, I'm wondering if somehow Sylar really is Claire's daddy. Or maybe Sylar just knows that HRG is.

I think Claire's dad is Linderman. Either he is Hiro's dad, played by George Takei or someone we haven't met yet.

Yeah, my recording stopped right at the moment that they showed that probe in the back of Sylar's head. But I didn't get to hear him ask HRG about Claire.

George Takei is definitely Hiro's father. When Hiro saw him, he said "Father?" and then he gulped. (I loved the subtitle GULP). As to Linderman's identity, I was thinking it was either HRG or Hiro's father.
