I caught those too. I am surprised there haven't been references to more superheros like Superman and Spiderman. I see Claire running away soon. Wait till she finds out the man who saved her is her uncle. I wonder if Nathan and Peter's mother has a power. She has been getting "cockier" as the show goes on. She's not this mousy person she was before. I can't believe Jessica is going around killing people for Linderman. And Nikki is becoming her own form. It's really strange.

I don't think it is her own form. I think it is just a manifestation, sort of like the way they did the Green Goblin in the first Spiderman.

I didn't think Matt was going to die, because the visions of the future all contain him in them. I know they are trying to alter that future, but it hasn't been altered yet. Same thing for Nathan, something is going to happen to keep him from dying. At least right now.

Then again, all my speculations could be completely off-base.

I wasn't sure if Matt "hearing" Nikki was him hearing her actual voice (which seemed a surprise to Jessica) or just him "hearing" her thoughts. That would make a difference to whether or not she is physically manifesting -- although Jessica expected to see her in the mirror on one of the landings, and instead had to turn around to see her at the top of the stairs.

I haven't been reading the comics, although I do agree about Sylar. Not only is he strong, he's also intelligent, which adds to the danger. Sylar is definitely one scary villain.

i have been speculting about the future. i think it is really creepy that Dr. Shuresh and Syler might be working together now. Which makes sense with my thoery about how the bomb goes of. Something Peter says in his last dream he says "I took his power Nathon." Leads me to think he might come in contact with Syler, and now that Shursh and Syler are teaming up so to speak, goes right along with that theory.

He only knew where Jessica was because he was listening to her thoughts then suddenly he heard Jessica arguing with Nikki. Nikki is only in Jessicas head. there has been no indication that Nikki is taking on her own form. If she do you really think Nikki wouldn't have tried to stop Jessica attack her. The fact that Matt heard her does not mean anything as he was listening for her thoughts.

About the star trek referrences i think it is fine with Hiros character because he is comical. But if they spread it to the other characters i will be very disappointed.

about Claire, i feel very sorry for her. Here she was thinking she would find her parents and have a relationship with both of them. now suddenly she finds out her father doesn't want to talk to her and her mother is not too keen on her meeting him either. and she finds out her mother is leaving, i was so upset at her mother. Then she goes home and finds out her adopted mother has no memory of her that surprised me and freaked me out.

but enough on the episode did anyone see the previews for next weeks episode. i am thinking claires adopted mom is going to die, Claire is going to exsplode then run from home knowing her adopted father ill have her memory wiped.

I had thought that initially as well. But there was the scene where Jessica ran down the stairs to a landing, looked in the mirror on the wall expecting to see Nikki, and instead saw herself. She turned around quickly to see Nikki at the top of the stairs. If it was just a conversation in her head, why would they have included that scene?

He doesn't eat their brains! He can change his brain chemistry to match those of the powers he is stealing, but he has to see how their brain is "broken" so he can switch his to match. That is why he cuts their skulls open.
