When you get to heaven, you will have no worries, everything will be centered around Christ along with everything you do. One thing that bothered me was that you will not have your spouse or shall I say spousal relationship like you do here on earth. Serving Christ will be of the utmost importance. Christ-B-With-U! so forgive me for starting a heaven thread, but sometimes i wonder if heaven will be... nice? from what i hear it sounds so robot-like, like there isn't a purpose... it bothers me a lot. i know this isn't a detailed post, but i'm so confused right now... please, if you have something to say about heaven, say it here...thanks
I am at this moment reading a book written by Choo Thomas a Korean, American lady. The book is entitled "Heaven is so Real"

The forward to the book has been written by Dr David Yonggi Cho. Cho started a chuch in S.Korea which today numbers many thousands of people.

Dr Cho read this book three times, and then had it translated into the Korean tongue.

There are people here that have seen heaven. You have a sanctified imagination just for this purpose. Some say they are caught up.

I know many that have been with the Lord in heaven.
I can try to answer some of your questions.

As for what do we do? There is structure/governmental systems in place. There will be higher work and lower work.
Servants as well as "CEO's" We won't be sitting around with harps all day singing songs.
Just as there is work on earth, there is work in heaven.

There are homes, fields, mountains, streams, animals....
We have glorified, spirit bodies. We look like ourselves and remember the past. I see my spirit as a 20yr old yet in real life I'm over 40.
There are saints from bible times there now, teaching and guiding those like us.
The streets of saphire, emerald, ruby...
the sea of glass that looks like glass but runs like water through your hands.
The rainbow, the constant light...

The throne room has light, cracking thunderous- noise, bowing people saying "worthy, worthy", creature with eyes and animal faces,
angels saying "Holy, Holy" and the heavy weight of God's glory.
There are many rooms and doors, great halls.

There are (I like to call them) warehouses. A big building with shelves with body parts in one. Money in another (bank).

There is a nursery and kids in another. Children that died before their time.

There's a garden of amazing colors.
Another amazing thing is there is no TIME...so you can see someone that's young and old.
On CF, another forum, I told a story of seeing my miscarried baby once as a baby, but several months later, I saw him again as a 13/14yr old. There is no time.

I hope that's helpful.

You too can go there NOW. Ask the Lord to open your spiritual eyes and your ears.
Ask for visions and dreams.
Call out for the Holy spirit and Jesus to guide you.

My friends have gone through visions, dreams and being caught up.

Once you've seen heaven, you will want to STAY there. ;)

"The Reality Of The Supernatural World" book by Todd Bentley

The Reality Of The Supernatural World:
Exploring Heavenly Realms & Prophetic Experiences

God wants to bring you into a heavenly experience with Him. He doesn’t want to wait until you get to heaven to show you His supernatural realm where you can: experience the throne room, see the sea of glass like crystal, receive visitations by angels, or get caught in the liquid-honey, glory cloud of His awesome presence.

We serve a supernatural God who takes ordinary men and women and encounters them in extraordinary ways. You too can visit paradise like Paul, or see angels ascending and descending the heavenly ladder as Jacob did, or be taken by the Spirit into visions of God like Elisha. God says, “Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place . . . ” (Rev. 4:1). How would you like to see the things the Father is doing; not just glimpse, but see into heaven just as Jesus and John did?

In The Reality of the Supernatural World, revivalist Todd Bentley inspires you to develop a “kingdom now mindset” by exploring the keys to tearing open the heavens in your life and ministry, and examining what those supernatural visits and experiences are all about. Learn how the seven Spirits of God can stir up wisdom and revelation in your life. Understand how to release breakthroughs with prophetic decrees and how to birth the prophetic destiny words you’ve received over your life. Activate your spiritual senses. Discover the moving throne of Revelation 4 and 5 and its relevance for today, not just in end times. Study the activity of angels and learn about their place in Scripture and in your life.

It is Todd’s prayer and belief that as you read this book you’ll come under a powerful anointing to walk daily in the reality of the supernatural and be a vessel for miracles, signs and wonders. God wants your life to be a prophetic message that carries supernatural substance. The Reality of the Supernatural World will inspire you to believe in a bigger God than you have ever known . . .

I lost my baby 4months gestation. I miscarried due to chickenpox.
14yrs later...I had a vision of Jesus walking me to a building where He said, "would you like to see your son?"
"Did I have a son Lord?"
"You named him Daniel and he waits for you. You can hold him now."

I held him and awed at how much he looked like both of my physical children. my mouth, dad's eye's etc.
I cried and didn't want to leave him. All the pain from the miscarriage came rushing back.

"You can come visit him anytime. He will always be here" ~ Jesus.

2months later;

I went looking for Daniel but found him playing outside. He was 14yrs old. He really looked like me!
I asked the Lord how it was that Daniel grew up so quickly.
"There is no time in heaven" ~J

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I went to gymnastics for my daughter and watched her practice. Next to me sat a man from our church. The Holy Spirit told me I needed to share my story.
Suddenly, his eye's welled up with tears and he began to share his. In a dream, Jesus took him to heaven. He walked through the gates and the Lord asked him, "would you like to see your son? He is waiting for you"
This man held his 4 yr old son in heaven.
We both cried sharing our stories about our children that we were not able to hold in the physical world...but they wait for our return.
Hm. To worry about Heaven being a place of the mundane or a place of routine, is to be selling both the promise of the Kingdom and the Lord severely short I think. I think we fear this in Heaven because we know it all too well now. The kinds of things we do that don't glorify God or whatnot. But in the Kindgom to come there is nothing BUT glory, ya know? It's hard to say what I think of it, as I couldn't tell ya, but someone shouldn't fear a place the Lord himself will dwell at, that's my thoughts at least.
At one time, I had similar questions. And then I was satisfied in knowing there would be "exquisite" justice and appropriate response to all things in heaven...and that made me look forward to being there.
Then I dreamed of being in the presence of Jesus. Oh,my! I cannot express the feelings that washed over me, the amazing joy, the incredible warmth and feeling of being loved, perhaps purely loved for the first time ever. And I closed my eyes to drink in the emotions and I could still see His glory. If that is how it is going to be, I will want it to last forever!
Heaven we be unimaginably beautiful, but the most awesome thing about it will be that we will no longer be separated from God and our Saviour Jesus. We will be able to come into their presence and praise them like we have never been able to do before.
There is nothing to fear or worry about and we won't just be sitting on clouds, playing our harps. God made us as people who are curious and like to learn new things, and there will be plenty to keep us gainfully occupied. God will not let us get bored I am certain.
