I am not questioning the Bible. Paul as a human being thought Satan was harming him when he does not really know. He was assuming.

When Paul heard what God said in verse 9, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."

Paul responded with an understanding what God is saying so Paul wrote: "Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Some of the sources are from Satan and some are NOT.

That's the dumbeset arguement I have ever heard. Paul was wrong then, but in other places, we are supposed to believe him if it fits into your twisted theology?

Incredible!

Let look at each word from Greek's definition

Weaknesses: (From Strong's Greek #769) of strength, weakness, infirmity, of the body, its native weakness and frailty, feebleness of health or sickness, of the soul , want of strength and capacity requisite 1b, to understand a thing 1b, to do things great and glorious 1b, to restrain corrupt desires 1b, to bear trials and troubles

Insults: (From Strong's Greek #5196) insolence
impudence, pride, haughtiness, a wrong springing from insolence, an injury, affront, insult, mental injury and wantonness of its infliction being prominent, injury inflicted by the violence of a tempest

Hardships: (From Strong's Greek #318) necessity, imposed either by the circumstances, or by law of duty regarding to one's advantage, custom, argument, calamity, distress, straits

Persecutions: (From Strong's Greek #1375) persecution

Difficulties: (From Strong's Greek #4730) narrowness of place, a narrow place, metaph. dire calamity, extreme affliction.

Reading Paul's Letters and aware of his afflictions that we can learn much truth from such trials, some of it depressing and some altogether elevating and wonderful. Spiritual maturity requires great care and a true knowledge of ourselves to distinguish a spiritual burden from irritation around us but at the same time, we cannot close our minds to everything that is happening around us. "Be very careful, then, how you live--not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil." (Ephesians 5:15-16) The Scriptures and Christian history have taught us ways to have spiritual endurance with the encouragement from the Holy Spirit. The question is this: Are we learning the circumstances?

Romans 5:1-5 (NIV) Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.

And it sounds to me like you have once again run out of your stupid arguements. Some day you will see me as your brother. Until then, I cannot but proclaim the truth to you.

Sounds like when we get into heaven, you will walk up to me saying "Brother, I told you so" with a prideful attitude? :D

No, let us look at your treatment of me. One who has reached out and reached out. But no, you have never once grasped my hand. Not once. How about we look at you?

Though you be deaf, you should learn to listen. If you cannot hear your own brother's cry to save you, surely you can see his outstretched hand?

That could definately go both ways.

No it can't. We aren't talking about your last day at work, we aren't talking about the hell you feel like you endured from your last boyfriend. We are talking about the perfection of truth.

If you cannot see the difference now, DIVE in until you see it!!!!!!!!!

God will wait. That's His nature. :)

What has that to do with the topic?

Yes.. God have patience. That's His nature (attributes).

His other nature (attribute) is that "The LORD has established his throne in heaven, and his kingdom rules over all." (Psalm 103:19). In Ephesians 1:11, "He works all things according to the purpose of His own will." 'Providence" means God’s faithful, moment-by-moment control over everything He has made to ensure that everything He has created are going according to His will. He is active in every detail of it. He’s active at every moment. Romans 8:28-29 "And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them." Proverbs 20:24 How can we understand the road we travel? It is the LORD who directs our steps. When times are good, be happy; but when times are bad, consider: God has made the one as well as the other. Therefore, a man cannot discover anything about his future. Eccl 7:14. In Proverbs 16:9 We can make our plans, but the LORD determines our steps.

So, in relation to "perfecting the truth". Truth is that Jesus Christ’s redemptive work on the cross provides the basis for my salvation and the foundation for me to pursue a life that reflects Christ. I believe that the truth of God’s Word will set me FREE from the bondage of sin. (John 8:32) I believe that the Bible is SUFFICIENT for life and godliness. (2 Peter 1:3-9) and the Bible gives me principles and guidelines to live a life of godliness. It is my conviction that God’s design for me is to be radically TRANSFORMED by the renewing of my mind. (Romans 12:2) My hope for this radical transformation is by the POWER of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 15:13) The goal of this pursuit and transformation is that I GROW in my knowledge and relationship with Christ. This growth in biblical knowledge fulfills the biblical command to go and make DISCIPLES. (Matt.28:18-20)

John 14:6
Jesus said, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
