Aid and comfort to the enemy. Remember that? It's quite clear
Now things are starting to make senseI don't know. But Dana Carvey said it every week, and that's good enough for me.
When you visit the country with which we are at war, call our soldiers criminals and make broadcasts to our soldiers in favor of the enemy, yes, that is aid and comfort to the enemy. So disagreement is now equal to aid and comfort to the enemy? So with regards to Iraq that would make about 70% of the country traitors. Wow, there are a lot of traitors in America.
Can you cite where Kerry did this? When you visit the country with which we are at war, call our soldiers criminals and make broadcasts to our soldiers in favor of the enemy, yes, that is aid and comfort to the enemy.
BINGO!I disagree: I think the real enemy is political authoritarianism that seeks to impose a dictatorship, as well as religious fundamentalism that seeks to impose its will upon society as a theocracy.
That would be a problem. I'm glad we're not dealing with that problem now
Can you give examples of how we are threatened by a dictatorship, as you claimed? Also, can you give examples of how we are threatened by a theocracy, as you claimed? But we are dealing with that problem, both externally and internally. Muslim theocrats and radicals want to impose their brand of Islam on other more secular Muslim countries. And the current administration, as well as influential religious conservative zealot organizations in this country who helped to elect Bush also seek to impose their brand of authoritarian power (under the guise of "providing security" and "taking America back for Christians") over this country. Both are also engaged in a struggle to gain congtrol of oil. It's essentially the same agenda, but with a different flavor.
Can you give examples of how we are threatened by a dictatorship, as you claimed? Also, can you give examples of how we are threatened by a theocracy, as you claimed?
Aren't you now trashing Gallagher for exercising his right to free speech? All the while accusing those handful of radicals who dared to express themselves at this weekend's War protest. Now I didn't agree with us going into Iraq, but I agree with Colin Powell: we broke it, we need to fix it. And I think a lot of the rhetoric coming from those who have participated in anti-Iraq War rallies, from Mar. 2003 until today are radicals stuck in 1973, but driving home from work today I listened until I feared I would vomit to Mike Gallagher doing his talking point best to trash those Americans who dared exercise their right of free speech and assembly.
What lie did he tell, specifically, since I didn't hear the program?Just keep lying Mike Gallagher, I almost want to support your nearly racist response to the Mexican illegal invasion we're dealing with in Texas,
Did he actually say that Fonda spit on the troops, and by spit I mean literally.but as long as you spread Bull pucky like Jane Fonda spitting on returning soldiers, a proven lie, I can't join with you in wanting Farmer's Branch to require proof of citizenship before renting an apartment.
After reading your first link and realizing it has nothing to do with either dictatorship or theocracy, there isn't much point of wasting my time reading the others. Suffice it to say that when things happen that you do not like, you have exaggerated their impacthttp://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/11/26/AR2005112600857.html

Simply amazing how you focus your outrage on something Jane Fonda did forty years ago yet support the administration that allows our soldiers to die on a daily basis simply because it does not with to admit a mistake. When you visit the country with which we are at war, call our soldiers criminals and make broadcasts to our soldiers in favor of the enemy, yes, that is aid and comfort to the enemy.

But it is SO much easier to blame the actors and musicians!!!! Remember that Hollywood is filled with commies!!!A traitor is defined as someone who betrays a trust, a cause or their country. And it most often references a person who has committed treason. It also commonly refers to someone who does so purposefully, but not necessarily so. So, the only question in my mind is, did the Bush administration purposefully commit treason, or was it by accident. There is no doubt they have betrayed our trust by lying, performing illegal acts and conducting themselves in a manner unbefitting our American ideals. And they have betrayed our cause (battling terrorism) by conducting an illegal war that is aiding and fomenting terrorism. Whether they thought they were benefiting the country or knew they were harming it is the only open question. Their acts have clearly undermined our military and caused the death or maiming of tens of thousands of American citizens. If only we could draft the lot of them and send them to Fallujah.
