Eccl. 12
13 ¶ Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

Wisdom is crying to us, and she is heard in the streets. Where do we find this, and what is she so intent on telling us? What if we don't listen?

Proverbs 1:20
Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets.

We are to turn at her reproof. If we do not listen, when we eventually do look for her she will not be found.

Where did somebody eventually tire of kicking against the pricks.

it was Saul in Acts 9:5 "And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks."

Rahab. But are you referring to James 2:25 when she was "deemed righteous?"

Where did somebody tell a story about the plants bragging about themselves.

Maybe there's 2 parts or two verses that apply here...ok, the first being when she hid and protected them in Joshua 2:4:

4 And the woman took the two men, and hid them, and said thus, There came men unto me, but I wist not whence they were:

and then in the verse you mentioned, James 2:25:

25 Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way?

Where did somebody tell a story about the plants bragging about themselves.

Hmmmm.....was it one of Joseph's dreams?

These verses seem to best fit what you are describing? (that must've been some sight to see)

Then Amaziah sent messengers to Jehoash, the son of Jehoahaz son of Jehu, king of Israel, saying, Come, let us look one another in the face. And Jehoash the king of Israel sent to Amaziah king of Judah, saying, The thistle that was in Lebanon sent to the cedar that was in Lebanon, saying, Give thy daughter to my son to wife: and there passed by a wild beast that was in Lebanon, and trode down the thistle. Thou hast indeed smitten Edom, and thine heart hath lifted thee up: glory of this, and tarry at home: for why shouldest thou meddle to thy hurt, that thou shouldest fall, even thou, and Judah with thee? But Amaziah would not hear. Therefore Jehoash king of Israel went up; and he and Amaziah king of Judah looked one another in the face at Bethshemesh, which belongeth to Judah." ~ II Kings 14:8-11
