I am a first time poster so please bear with me! I have always been suspicious of the, seemingly, blind assumption that there is a magical force forcing us down to the Earth - surely there is a greater power at play here?

May this be the devil's will trying to bring us to the darkness? God's might keeping us above ground and, ultimately, winning the battle of good and evil.

What do you think?

I hate to think it's the Devil that's keeping things together for us here. Like last Thursday, I was worried the earth might fly apart from spinning, if gravity was to fail us, but no.

Truth can come from only one source, it has a single source that it can flow from, or it is not truth.
Just as concerning creation, there can be only one source or one creator. like Eternal Life there can not be many types of eternal Life, this must also come from a single source.

That the current church testifies to this, as many now have created their own truth using the Bible in most cases. And it can be seen how divided and useless many churches are, they have ventured of the path God had set for the church (to be a light for the world)

If The Messiah (Jesus) was standing before you preforming miracles, etc.. and stating He is the truth. How would your and your truth stake a claim at truth.

Astronauts do indeed experience gravity. In fact, they are in free fall. They are falling downwards, but they are also moving horizontally at such a speed that as they fall downwards, the surface of the (roughly) spherical Earth is curving away from them. They are, essentially, constantly falling towards a ground that is constantly curving away from them. That is what an orbit is. Without gravity, there would be nothing keeping the astronauts in orbit around the Earth, and nothing keeping the Earth in orbit around the sun.
