Right view is just the afterlife
As I have already said in the post that you evaded so expertly, things happen.
Even you assume that an "afterlife" is awaiting the atheists... just not the same afterlife that you expect for yourself.

But that still leaves open the question of this life. You call this a "haunted world". It's a world where atheists are around and do their atheism.
If we didn't all start here, this has to be one of these "lower realms" where atheists land because they didn't plan right.

Which still leaves the question unanswered: what are you doing here?

If you saw someone walking toward hell……

You would say turn around.

Are you sure you're a buhdist? You sure talk like a christian. (And I'm not walking right now as I am seated.)

In a roundabout way, yes, it does.
Roundabout? I might agree with "very nearly directly", but no matter.

This chatter about gravity having something to do with how close we are to God strikes me as being a bit daft, but to each his own.

The original post is tongue in cheek.

I kept the five precepts which are necessary for human birth.

Five precepts are five standards of behavior.

Five ways of good conduct.
And we are here also. That would mean we did as well. So where is the difference?

Buoyancy and the Archimedian Principle are calculated from a comparison of the weight of an object and the weight of the surrounding fluid. It includes no direct mention of the cause of "weight".

Of course the argument can be made that "weight" in itself is proof of gravity... but that is, as far as I understood it, the very point that gravity-deniers are questioning.

I'm aware of that, yes.

Because weight is the result of gravititional attraction, and with no gravity there is no weight. My point exactly, which is why "very nearly directly" is a good descriptor.

Gravity deniers... I had no idea that there could be people even less reasonable than flat-earthers.

I suppose the ghost was lonely.

So she approached us…
That means that your view that the afterlife is real is based on something that you didn't "plan" for.

So why do you expect atheists should do different from what you did?
