Unbelievers are "under the Law"... not the born again, not the body of Christ, and not the "bride of Christ"

Paul spoke about multiple different categories of law other than the Law of God, so it is important to correctly identify which law he was saying that are not under. For example, in Romans 3:27, he contrasted a law of works with a law of faith and a law that our faith upholds in Romans 3:31 can't be referring to the same thing as the works of the law that are not of faith in Galatians 3:10-11. Likewise in Romans 7:25-8:2, Paul contrasted the Law of God with the law of sin and contrasted the Law of the Spirit with the law of sin and death. In 1 John 3:4-10, those who do not practice righteousness in obedience to the Law of God are not born again, and in Romans 8:4-10, those who are born of the Spirit are contrasted with those who have minds set on the flesh who are enemies of God who refuse to submit to the Law of God. Jesus spent his ministry teaching his followers how to obey the Law of God by word and by example, so it doesn't even make sense to think that the way to become part of the body of Christ is by rejecting everything he taught.
