Amazingly so! I read about his sketches in the past. They said it only took a few strokes. He was really fast.

I boggles my mind how he ran Chanel, Fendi and his own label. Did photography, film, made books. Etc.

Beauty Through the Last 100 Years
1900 - 2000

I love vintage looks, so here is a time-lapse video through the last 100 years. I don´t say that the looks are 100% authentic ...But I made a lot of research from authentic photos, movies and drawings.

This is great! I've also fallen behind on what the trends were in the '90s, 2010 and forward. I never did the spaghetti strap because my back had too many scars. I probably can do it now. The cut out seems like something maybe someday I would like to try. I will have to look for it when I'm at resale shops. I've never been interested in 1920s dresses, but I have sort of a black one that I've had for 10 years and never worn but have a reunion coming up in a couple days that I will wear it too. I almost thought about ordering a headband with a feather to complete the outfit, but that would be too weird. If I'm involved in the next reunion 5 years from now, maybe I can see about making it a decades outfit event for fun.

The Guide to Preppy & Ivy League Style

Interesting video. I've recently taken it interest in polos and tennis / golf skirts. Plaid has always been a thing with me, most recently with scarves for the fall. British check, I believe, it looks like Burberry style, has been a recent interest as of last fall. The next time I go to the outlet mall I'm going to stop in Ralph lauren. I used to go there back in the 80s but kind of got out of it.

16 Ways to Learn Everything About Fashion

Another interesting piece. I watched Iris and Dior last week. I'm hoping in the future to find some more documentaries. I might have to travel to other libraries... It's just a side interest right now, but when I was in my teens I was obsessed with it. I had plans to go into fashion merchandising, but when in the Army instead. It shocked everybody.

I think because of my interest in fashion merchandising, 10 years later my younger sister followed in my footsteps and went to the Art Institute and got her fashion merchandising degree. She has been in retail for some years now.

That’s wonderful! It’s fun to discover new looks. Which one did you like most?

Good choices. I wasn’t in the Dior camp but I’ve come around. Fashion is intriguing. I’m glad you’re exploring it again. :)

Do you mean from the video what kinds of style I like of prep now? Or what did I like back in high school and through the years?

wasn’t in the Dior camp but I’ve come around.
I'm not sure I'm with the Dior camp, I just checked out whatever documentaries my library offered. It was interesting, but more information than anything. Coco Chanel was more of an interesting background on her design. Some years ago I was at a yoga retreat, sponsored by a friend, and I didn't realize before then how there was people that were obsessed with Coco Chanel, as someone mentioned that about her college years. It surprised me.
