  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Hey guys!
I've been talking to an old high school friend of mine who is in the Army stationed at Ft. Myer and we decided that I'm gonna hop on a plane for Spring break and spend it seeing what there is to see in our nation's captiol! I'm really excited because 1) I'll get to see Ft. Myer (if I get that audition I talked about a while ago, that's where I'll be stationed), 2) I'll get to see all the historical landmarks and memorials of DC, and last but probably the best 3) I'll get to see a dear friend whom I have not seen in 5 years!! I can't wait :) 7 weeks to go! lol. I just thought I'd shre ;)

Awesome Kasia! I hope you enjoy your stay out there. You know I've been living on the east coast since I was born and I still never formally visited DC. :( I've taken a train past it, going down to Florida though ^_^ So it's also on my list of to do.... please take some great pics and show us.

(Side note... I'll probably be spending mine in IL with Sean and his family.. if I can convince my family :p)

You should be here in time for the Cherry Blossoms. Washington is a beautiful city, but the Cherry Blossoms make it look like a fairy land. The traffic will suck around the monuments, because that's where the cherry blossoms are. Fort Meyer is pretty close < 5 miles from Washington and we have a great subway system. You'll have a great time.
