  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

So, my nephews brought a friend over Friday for yardwork/gun stuff, and I noticed my two neph's friend had that old familiar .50 cal in his case. I was excited that he offered to give me a try with the pistol so while we were at a set off position on my own range, I stapled the 8x8 poster above to a 2x4 that was measured appx. 50 feet away where I set up my aiming point. Now I'm not new to high caliber firearms, I've been EDC'ing a .45 acp. for a while now, but no one is ever ready for the beast guns, However, at 45-50 ft. and the startling blowback, I was sure to have missed the square all together. Seems my skill is not lacking as a marksman, at least I know to always put the egg in the basket etc. etc.
