It appears to.me that atheists are not the ones that deny truth. How about theists denying the truth that science has presented with misquotation , half truths and wilfully misunderstanding because it does not fit into your world view.


Theists don't even accept the truth of the bible but will interpret it as suits their arguement, even to the point of picking and choosing what they like from the bible.

Yes, the theists seem to believe what some long dead Bible interpretor claimed Genesis says.Actually, Genesis ssays the same thing science is discovering to be true:


1) It is clear that the Universe DID have a beginning, 13.9 billion years ago.

2) The hot spinning molten matter that was to coalesce into the planet Earth was without form:

3) There were seven long Cosmic "days" since that Big Bang, which we call the seven cosmic/geological Eras.

4) A Cosmic Dark Age did precede that advent of let there be light to flood the cosmos.
(Gen 1:3-5)


5) There was one ocean, once, where all the waters had been collected together.
(Gen 1:9)


6) Pangea/Rodinia did actually confirm that the dry land appeared surrounded totally by water.
(Gen 1:10


7) The Plant kingdom did establish itself before the Animal kingdom.
(Gen 1:11)


8) The Sun and the Moon and all the Stars were "MADE," given authority over circadian Earth Time as soon as life appeared:


9) Man WAS the last step in the evolution of Dominant Life on earth.
(Gen 1:27)


10) Man HAS managed to form a mental IMAGE of "Father Nature" by understanding of His Laws and creation.




11) Gen 5:2 says god called them, the man and his wife, the "Adamites," a species:

It was the followers, believers, and most of the apostles who did die as martyrs professing the truth about Jesus. So I don't see how your idea is supported. And Jesus died because of our sins against God. Not to prevent any future problems. Sounds like my home church kookiness.

Well there are the ones written before Jesus came, the witnesses who saw his ministry, and the ones who wrote about it afterwords. You can pick which you are interested in. Please direct us to what you'd like to submit for Bible inclusion. Some really dedicated people have likely gone though it already, but if you feel it needs to be considered again, please show us what you deem worthy as God's official word to man. Maybe it has some merit that 1000's haven't noticed till now.

Geology does not deal with the age of the universe, geological eras only reference earth and its age. besides there are 10 eras

I'll start with my guide for "Literal" translations of the Bible.
1. Read the sentence in the context of the sentence before it and the one after it.
2. Read the sentence in the context of the chapter before it and the one after it.
3. Read the sentence in the context of all the books before it and the books after it.

People who fail to follow this guideline usually mess up. Here is an outside opinion:

As I have stated before:

God said His creation was "very good," and that's good enough for me to deem it "perfect" - (or, better yet, pluperfect).

If you want to inject "accuracy" into the picture, God said His creation was "very good" --- meaning pluperfect.

If "perfect" is too hard a concept to understand, then use the term God Himself used --- very good.

But remember, it's God calling it very good, not man; and after having had a conversation with MrGoodBytes about it, I'm under the impression that from our point of view, it was pluperfect.

The punishment for adultery is death. Do you believe you should be put to death for looking at a pretty woman?
