As it stands the title of your thread is gibberish. You need to explain the meaning of "good" in the statement "God is good." To do that, you need to explain (1) if and why a sovereign God actually WANTS INNOCENT women and children to die horrible deaths from natural disasters that God presumably decrees and then (2) precisely what God's goodness means in that context.

I need to explain what I mean by good? Ask a Christian, they should know that answer. Personally I have a different view on what a good is.

Not every act of evil or suffering serves a good purpose ever. A lot is just misery.

And as I added to another post above, the Bible was compiled over centuries, and the Gospel writers in their narratives don't read as if they were there or even knew anyone who was an eyewitness.

And there is more total, complete, overall proof that all GOD'S WORD is TRUTH,

Likewise GOD HIMSELF SAYS - everything , both good and bad,
HE HIMSELF
causes to work together for GOOD for THOSE who love God,
who are called ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSE (not for others).

According to Richard Bauckham, they actually very much do read that way: Jesus and the Eyewitnesses: The Gospels as Eyewitness Testimony

I haven't read the book yet, but I'm very intrigued by the argument.

(It is worth noting that eyewitness accounts are notoriously inaccurate by modern standards, but the Gospels were written within a generation, so I'd be careful treating them too much like a product of the passage of time.)

I'm trying to think of a good definition myself.
Good is often the tougher route. Hence the narrow gate.
Evil is easy, the wider gate where anyone can get in.
