From what I have seen Trump is still the most popular and likely person to win the primary so that (running out of steam) does not make sense.

Fair enough. But you can see the point being made. If it's ok for Giuliani to go drag and no-one assumes ulterior motives, then why do so when someone else does it? It cannot be the fact that some guy is just reading stories to children. That in itself is harmless.
