Funny you should mention that- I noticed this morning that I only own 4 pairs of cotton socks. Everything else is nylons, trouser socks, and barefoot in sandals with pretty pink toenails.oncewaslost said:~Interesting Factoid #1: socks are great. you can never have too many of them.
You and me both. The last novel I read took me 5 hours to finish and there aren't any other good suspense/thrillers out right now, so I've been reduced to reading the Divine Comedy for fun until something better comes along. Hurry up Tom Clancy! I'm about to reread Rainbow Six for like, the sixth time.~Interesting Factoid #2: i love to read. i usually read about a novel a week. unfortunately a number of things have prevented me from being able to read as much as i used to.![]()
~Interesting Factoid #5: i can write calligraphy
Great Movie. I watched it last night, actually. I've never read the book, though. Is it good too?~Favorite Secular Novel: the count of monte cristo
there, now you've met boring, little ol' me.
Now I'm intrigued. I think I'll head to the library after work and check it out. The unabridged version, of course. I can't stand feeling as though I've missed out on something!oncewaslost said:i thought the book was way better than the movie. i thought the end of the movie was lame but then i'm picky about endings. i didn't like how the movie changed edmund's character.i read the unabridged version and i can't really tell you the difference between the abridged and unabridged except that the abridged is super thin compared to the unabridged

The ocean is awesome. I go to wrightsville beach at least once a week, and go for rides down river road/421 all the way past Kure beach, to the bottom of the peninsula. Love this area.
So you where/are a marine? We sure have alot of those here on the beaches and around town on the weekends. Crazy group. I've seen alot of fights around here between marines. I find it all very entertaining.![]()
