I had polished river rocks in the bottom of his bowl instead of yucky gravel, and he wedged himself under one of them and couldn't get loose. He couldn't get to the top for air, so he drowned.

Hello... I thought it might be time to introduce myself. I was wary about it earlier because I'm not so keen on giving out much information about myself. Ah well, no matter.

I'm 21 and an undergraduate student in California. I've been in school for a while now (I'm in my senior year) but I will not graduate for a little longer yet because I'm going to Spain for 6 months. I'm going to be an Au Pair for a family and in exchange I will get to travel and become fluent in Spanish. Quite the opportunity and worth skipping a quarter.

I was homeschooled up until I began attending Junior College and from there I transferred to Cal Poly, SLO. I'm majoring in Mathematics, but right now I am wanting something that is more applicable. I'm thinking about changing my major to BioMedical Engineering or Microbiology. Those majors will utilize nearly all the math and science classes I've taken so far. With whatever math classes which are not used I guess I can put towards a Math minor if I feel so inclined. I'm not in a big rush to get out of school.

I LOVE to read... It's as nearly essential for my survival as oxygen. Last time I counted I had over 200 books packed into my little 500 s.f. studio apartment. I love to read classic and greek literature. Besides literature, most of my collection is science adn theology books. I'm having a hard time weeding through what I don't need in order to make packing up easier before my trip to Spain. I have recently discovered a love for selling things on Amazon as a result.

I am the oldest in my family. I have two brothers and six sisters. We are extremely close-knit and as of yesterday afternoon (6/4/04) I became an Aunt for the first time. It's a big, healthy girl. Yay! Exciting times.

I guess I can list off a few quick things about myself:

Hair color: dark blonde/light brown (slowly getting darker) - moderately curly.
Eyes: Blue
Height: ~ 5'5"
Favorite Foods: Pastas, salads, fruits, veggies, and junk/sugar foods.
Religion: I used to be charasmatic, but I am not so much anymore. I like the AOG church. I am very conservative.
Occupation: Student and Medical Records Clerk (at a hospital)
Dress style: Casual (jeans. t-shirt) but cute, modest, and comfortable.
Make-up?: No, I only use lip gloss. I like the clean and natural look. I might put a little something on if it's a formal/dressy event.
Additional Hobbies: Writing snail mail, hiking, going to the beach, bike riding, computers.... bunch of little things.
What makes my day: Making someone laugh, making someone else's day, spiking someone's interest and watching their eyes get wide (esp. if it's when I talk about Jesus)...

This doesn't by any means touch the tip of the ice burg. I would love to hear from people! I'm open to any conversations. I'm a very easy-going and laid back person.
