This is the part you are missing IMHO. All fallen angels are not chained or in hell. Only the ones that sinned. What was that sin? You say the rebellion but earlier you agree that fallen angels “did and still do” affect humans.

Are you really gullible enough to believe that fallen angels had physical intimacy with earthly women that produced offspring 450-feet tall? I don't think so! We read in chapter 7:12-15 of the Book of Enoch...

7:12 Whose stature was each three hundred cubits. These devoured all which the labor of men produced; until it became impossible to feed them;
7:13 When they turned themselves against men, in order to devour them;
7:14 And began to injure birds, beasts, reptiles, and fishes, to eat their flesh one after another, and to drink their blood.
7:15 Then the earth reproved the unrighteous.

A "cubit" is 1.5 feet. The ark which Noah built was 300 cubits long (Genesis 6:15). Do you mean to tell me that some women had children who were as tall as the ark was long? You've got to be joking! Such foolish conjecture is a violation of the simplest teachings of the Bible. In Genesis 6: we read, "There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown." I think Pastor J. Vernon McGee interprets this Scripture exactly right...

If 450 foot giants don't convince someone that the book of Enoch is nonsensical, nothing probably will. If one lives in a big city, and that the typical height of each floor of a skyscraper is 10 feet, that would mean these giants were 45 stories tall. That's pretty tall. Imagine trying to feed someone that size. And then imagine if there were hundreds, even thousands, that same size. Imagine having to feed all of them.

Many of the supposed references are so vague that they could either be a reference to other works or else the similarity may simply be coincidental. They may not even be references to anything at all. That's why people such as yourself have to say that one is "similar to" the other.

In your case it is nothing but wishful thinking. The reason why the Apocrypha was rejected 2000 years ago is that the quotations and references to the Old Testament by Jesus and the NT writers provide strong evidence in favour of the Jewish canon (as in the Protestant Bible); whereas the absence of similar quotations to the apocrypha argues against the canonicity of these books.

And he took up his parable and said -Enoch a righteous man, whose eyes were opened by God, saw the vision of the Holy One in the heavens, which the angels showed me, and from them I heard everything, and from them I understood as I saw, but not for this generation, but for a remote one which is 3 for to come. Concerning the elect I said, and took up my parable concerning them:

The Holy Great One will come forth from His dwelling,

4 And the eternal God will tread upon the earth, (even) on Mount Sinai,

[And appear from His camp]

And appear in the strength of His might from the heaven of heavens.


5 And all shall be smitten with fear

And the Watchers shall quake,

And great fear and trembling shall seize them unto the ends of the earth.

The names of Jannes and Jambres aren't recorded in scripture either, yet Paul wrote about them opposing Moses. Perhaps we should extend certain logic shown here and throw out 2 Timothy as an occult book as well.

Point is that you are supposing that because you find a measurement that does not fit , that the whole book is not valid and some people make the same claim of the bible
so you should understand that , just because there are things you are not wanting to accept - only means just that -things you are not wanting to accept. Some people do not accept the bible and by using your level of understanding that would make the bible not worth reading simply because someone found a scripture they did not want to accept
Enoch is in the canon of some Christian doctrines - just because you do not accept it does not mean anything more than you don't accept it -Simple

Don't show then Amos 2:9 where the Lord says He destroyed the Amorites and described them as being as tall as the cedar trees, which in that area grows from 80 to 120 feet tall.

"Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, men corrupted in mind and disqualified regarding the faith.

You said they were not recorded in Scripture but low and behold, there they are!!!!!

You are correct but it does not matter to our friend. He has more faith in the book of Enoch that he does the Bible AND right there is the problem we who are Bible believers are having with what he is saying.
