They even claimed that Jesus was a rich person and his family were all wealthy and it is a lie that he was poor

When a country starts selling faith like a product then you know it has reached the end of the line!

You say I'm stuck on money, and yet you interpret Matthew 25 as if it was about financial investments, and not investment of capabilities and other, non-monetary resources. Classical prosperity interpretation.

When David saw Bathsheba and wanted her, what did he do? he raped her.

Then, when she got pregnant, David tried to cover that by having her husband come home from the service, hoping that he would perform a marital privilege, only, to his horror, find out that Uriah refused.

What did he do next, when Uriah went back to the army?

He had her husband Uriah placed at the front of the battle, with orders to withdraw and leave him there.

Of course he died in battle, leaving David to marry Bathsheba.

And do you know how he did this? He sent Uriah back to battle with a note in his hand to give to the commander -- a note that was his own death warrant.

Yet, after all that, when David came to his senses and realized what he had done, what did he write to God?

I could never understand this passage, until it was pointed out to me that David was never again the man he used to be; and when he died, he died one of the most agonizing deaths in the Bible (Psalm 38).

Mister Hovind didn't do nearly what David did, but, just like David, he is forgiven (assuming he repented).

The fact that he perjured himself repeatedly, defied court orders, was subsequently delinquent again, tried to sue the government, filed false criminal complaints repeatedly, and conspired with his son to hide away property titles and deeds to evade a legal IRS lien.

The man is a mentally unstable criminal.

Nope. He didn't pay them, purposefully so. He said in court that he'd pay if all the govt. wanted was money, but on the phone with his sons conspired to hide away substantial amounts from the govt.
The day the IRS searched his home he withdrew $70 000, which he intended to hide.

And so, with a pseudo-clever misapplication of a Biblical verse, AV singlehandedly declares every justice system of every civilization invalid.

The thing about taxes is you have to keep records. If you do not have the records & receipts then you have to pay more. We keep everything. Then if the goverment wants it we have it. The accountants are afraid of the government, they do not want to go to jail. So they are very picky about what sort of papers they will fill out for you. You really have to jump though the hoops to give them the information exactly the way they want it. Everything has to be documented, you can not just give them numbers. You have to have something to back it up. Usually the accountant finds ways to save you money so that they don't really cost you anything at all. They make you money.

Hovind did not want to play the game with them. He did not like the building inspectors. I wrote him an email and tried to get him to go along with the inspectors but he would not listen. I never had any problems with the inspectors, I always got along real good with them. Of course I followed the law because I figured there was a reason for it. They are just trying to protect people and keep them safe. Like when you run a wire, you can not twist it up, you have to keep it straight. If your wires are all twisted up it could create resistance and start a fire. So there is a reason they want to keep everything neat and tidy.
