genesis 1:11 Then God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.” And it was so.
God spoke and plants started to grow.

Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.

Doesn't really explain "Let the land produce..."? What does "it was so" mean? The command/fiat to the land and/or water is mediate not immediate, and would clearly imply a process. The structure of Gen. 1 should require a little thought and critical thinking...
