I attended a Benny Hinn crusade here in Tampa, FL about ten years ago. On the stage with him was Paula White and other WOF well knowns. It was held in the USF sun dome and lasted for me only as long as it took to realize the Holy Spirit was not, nor was He, going to attend.

It was a farce of a service; plus, the seats were occupied predominantly by the sick and poor, and it is to these people Hinn should have emptied his wallet, but instead, called for an offering. Not a speck of God's precious presence was present there. It was all a game, for show, for display, and the sadest display of money grubbing anyone could witness.

I left feeling sad over the state of the "Spirit filled" portion of the church today. No wonder folks are starting to prefer holding home meetings. God is not into shows of the sort Hinn puts on, and as long as there are folks who have chronic pain and health issues that are terminal, men like Hinn will gain from them, as they view him as a last resort -- like when Steve McQueen flew to Mexico to purchase laetrile as his last resort, and Michael Landon took up a macrobiotic diet.

Yeah I condemn all Baptist over Westbourgh too,but Benny Hinn is not WOF.
I don't follow Paula White so don't care if she's Catholic.
I find it a bit egotistical to determine that God's presence is or is not based on your feeling.

You know instead of potshots at WOF,sharing your experience may be edifying, but your witch hunt comes first.
Your altruism toward the sick and poor may be incorrect, you may just find the same people
Spending 100 bucks guzzling beer at a sporting event, but that's ok as long as it's not a ministry.

So, you don't think one can "feel" the presence of God? Well, then I suggest you've had very little experience with the sort of presence that Kathryn Kuhlman's ministry brought with it. God's presence saturated every portion of the believing attendee, from head to toe and throughout the spirit, soul and body. It was inescapable and heavenly, not a put on, a show, to convince folks to give in bucket loads of donations.

I am pretty sure Benny Hinn is WOF. So is Paula White.

I think you owe HopeinGod an apology for saying he is taking pot shots and on a witch hunt.

Your post is not edifying at all.

I understand the knowing if God is in the house feeling, some Churches seem lifeless.
Mostly the ones that have created services to draw more people.
But it also depends on our hearts toward the Church.
If we go looking for a fault,we may be looking for a fault in God.
As I mentioned Hinn is Charismatic not WOF.
I am tired of debating who is of God and who is not, faith in God is not a debatable
Subject.
But consider this could people possibly need a circus to believe?
The gifts have been denied and spoken against for ages.
Maybe some go from those meetings with a new excitement for God,and his work is done no matter the sender.
God Bless

Many years ago I was at Derrick Prince meetings. I didn't feel anything or sense anything but the power of God was there mightily.

We have to fight for our spiritual lives. We can't be passive with faith.

2 Cor 10:3-5 is key to faith in trials.

This is how Hope in God started his thread:

None of these people are WOF,as Truthfrees has clarified.

It is not edifying to align a faith group with people who are not of that group.

I do not want to offend anyone, and I apologize to Hope in God if I have offended him.
You must understand that I base my statements in response to others, and being pretty sure
Won't cut it when a statement places others in a negative perspective.

It is aggravating as Christians we are not one,but false assumption will continue to divide us.
We should use our time here building bridge's not fences because we all have one common enemy.
He is a accuser of the Saints, are we to accuse as well?

Acts 23:2-4
2 And the high priest Ananias commanded them that stood by him to smite him on the mouth.

3 Then said Paul unto him, God shall smite thee, thou whited wall: for sittest thou to judge me after the law, and commandest me to be smitten contrary to the law?

4 And they that stood by said, Revilest thou God's high priest?

You think the brethren of the past were beyond calling a spade a spade? If so, you're very sadly mistaken. The WOF plague has been the most powerful destroyer of God's true intentions within the past numerous decades and where there is any hint of it, should be renounced, but it isn't being set aside by these we have been writing about. They have the same approaches and speak in the same ways as the other WOFers, and steal from those who have the least, just as the others do.

What is the point of the verses you posted?
Do you think somehow that Paul's tribulations apply to your view point?
The Bible is not a comic book nor is it a book for cursing others.
The hallmark of immaturity is a self centered attitude.

It is as right to call these so-called men and women of God "thou whited wall," or whatever true name is fitting, such as "ambassadors of error," or whatever is best fitting, as it was for Paul to speak it to the "high priest" of his time.

These televangelists have been made into idols by the blind and suffering who think they actually have something to say and give to them. But we who see through their charade call them what they are, and are not afraid to tell it to their faces. They are the major source of Babylonian doctrine in this day, and have set the church back maybe another forty years. They are a roadblock to the truth, which is the fact that the church has lost her way with their error filled meetings and personal kingdom building.

I agree. IMO the two most damaging doctrines are the 'we are little gods' doctrine and the 'positive confession or speak what you want into existence'. Who needs God then? How does one humble themselves before the Lord. Those are a slippery slope. Yup. Yup.

As I mentioned Hinn is Charismatic not WOF.

Just because Hinn is Charismatic (or more likely Pentecostal) doesn't mean he's not WoF.
You are posting on a Charismatic forum, does that mean you're not WoF?

Benny Hinn may not have graduated from Rhema, but his beliefs are WoF.

Please tell me which parts of the WoF Statement of Faith you think Benny Hinn does not believe?

Thanks,
Simon

Don't throw out faith in Jesus and the promises of God because some TV preachers don't have faith in God for money to run their ministry.

No one is doing that. However, it is up to us to expose what we see as not being right within the body of Christ. There will be false prophets in the last days (not saying that Benny Hinn is one or is not one), we all need to be aware.
