Not true. It is either a false vision or the kid is lying. My little pony and angels with halos? Colton is afraid of Jesus so angels have to sing to calm him? Really? You actually believe that?
Also, the visions in Daniel, Isaiah, and Revelation gives God the glory. Colton’s fictional story or false vision gives himself the glory and not God. It is a self centered story unlike the three accounts we are given of God and His Kingdom in Scripture.
There is nothing in Scripture that is even remotely like Colton’s story.
Why does one side have to be right and the other wrong? Why cant you both be wrong and God be right? I see the spirit of the pharisee among us. One side say that Jesus will come on a rainbow horse...The other side said it will be a white horse. But what if he comes on a donkey instead? Wont we debate him and call him a liar just like the pharisee did?
He will come in a manner which we think not, at a time which we think not. Not a good idea to Tell Jesus that you have to come exactly how i believe you should...else we may crucify him just like the religious of old.
Also, in Colton's false vision, he sees the angel Gabriel sitting on the left hand of God.
How is this a problem?
In (Ephesians 1:19-21) here we see God exalting Jesus above all others by seating Him at the right hand of the Father.”
“The term “God’s right hand” in prophecy also refers to the Messiah to whom is given the power and authority to subdue His enemies (Psalms 110:1; Psalms 118:16)”
The fact that Jesus Christ is at the “right hand of God” was a sign to the disciples that Jesus had indeed gone to heaven. In John 16:7-15, Jesus told the disciples that He had to go away and He would send the Holy Spirit. So the coming of the Holy Spirit in the upper room on the day of Pentecost (Acts of the Apostles 2:1-13) was positive proof that Jesus was indeed in heaven seated at the right hand of God. This is confirmed in Romans 8:34 where the Apostle Paul writes that Christ is sitting at God’s right hand making intercession for us.
Therefore, what we can say that “God’s right hand” refers to the Messiah, the LORD Jesus Christ and He is of equal position, honor, power and authority with God (John 1:1-5). The fact that Christ is “sitting” refers to the fact that His work of redemption is done and when the fullness of the gentiles is brought in (Romans 11:25), Christ’s enemies will be made His footstool as the end of the age comes,"
So again, we see Satan trying to be like the Most High here.

Exactly..... .since Messiah Yeshua - Jesus sits at the right hand of the Father..... .how could Gabriel sitting at his left hand be a problem.............????????
Exactly......... i think
you were inspired and guided to post this question to reply number one hundred!
Then again........ do you actually have a problem with this..... and did I take the meaning of your question in the wrong way? I assumed by asking that question......"How is this a problem?" meant that you, like me, were not offended by Gabriel sitting at his left hand?
But there are some stories that are far, far, far more unusual than what Colton was shown.
Ezekiel 10:14
¶
And every one had four faces: the first face was the face of a cherub, and the second face was the face of a man, and the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.
And the cherubims were lifted up. This is the living creature that I saw by the river of Chebar.
And when the cherubims went, the wheels went by them: and when the cherubims lifted up their wings to mount up from the earth, the same wheels also turned not from beside them.
When they stood, these stood; and when they were lifted up, these lifted up themselves also: for the spirit of the living creature was in them.
Then the glory of the LORD departed from off the threshold of the house, and stood over the cherubims.
And the cherubims lifted up their wings, and mounted up from the earth in my sight: when they went out, the wheels also were beside them, and every one stood at the door of the east gate of the LORD'S house; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.

One side say that Jesus will come on a rainbow horse...The other side said it will be a white horse. But what if he comes on a donkey instead? I did a deep study for a while in what makes a good script for a film and I know what sounds believable and what does not sound believable. A my little pony rainbow horse does not sound believable compared to odd looking angels that God designed. One is unbelievable because it is hokey and cheesy and a clear rip off from secular TV; And the other is simply something we are not used to seeing. Angels with halos is what we see in movies and seems more fictional than what Scripture says about such beings.
It's like a person who makes an independent film and thinks it's awesome even though everyone else sees that is it is low budget looking and cheesy and the script and acting is just plain awful.
I replied, "Well, I'm kind of young to die."
He chuckled. "We have babies die."
I said, "Well, there's some things I want to know first."
He replied, "What do you want to know?"
"What is death?" I asked.
He said, "Turn and look to one side."
As I did, I saw a bad car wreck. Several people had been killed. Out of some of the bodies a spirit came up to progress on.
Some who did not believe it was possible stayed in their bodies and would not emerge. I asked if they could be reached and he said, "Yes, some more quickly than others and some maybe never." Death, then, is not believing in anything.
I asked, "What is hell?"
He said, "Turn and look again."
I saw an old woman in a rocking chair determined to sit and rock and worry about children and grandchildren and everything else. Hell is therefore a lack of wisdom and not moving on, choosing not to go any further, sitting there and doing nothing. Hell is not a place.
I asked if there was a Devil or Satan.
He said to me, "Would God allow that?" He continued, "If I made you God for just a few seconds, what would you do first?"
I knew my first act would be to eliminate any Devil or Satan. I asked, "How do I know right from wrong?"
He replied, "Right is helping and being kind. Wrong is not only hurting someone but not helping when you can."
We walked as I asked about the universe and reasons for everything. All of these things were shown to me. Then he wondered if I still wanted to return to the physical world.
"I do want to return."
He asked, "Why?"
I said I would help my mother whom my father had left with four children and one on the way. God kind of chuckled and asked me for the real reason. I said I would leave the Earth a little better than I found it.
Then you may return with some of the knowledge of the things you have learned, but the rest will be veiled for a time. Live in such a way that you will not be going back when you return here again.
I woke up face down in the mud of the river bottom and was 'lifted' to the top. I threw up great amounts of water, then pulled myself out of the river only to discover my brother had died.
Because faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word of God and not false visions that came long after. Colton's story is nowhere near the level of Scripture. It is false because it seeks to glorify angels and not God. This should raise alarm bells for you because Satan seeks to be like the Most High God.
Asking a question from your proponent's response does not mean I agree with the question asked. The answer to the question should have made that clear to you that I was NOT in agreement with you. I am asking a question briefly in how you or others who are in favor of NDE's would ask such a question and then giving you an answer to that question (that would refute such false thinking). In other words, I am solving a problem with an answer to a question that you would hypothetically ask in that situation.
For example: Rick (who is skinny) can ask the question to a fat person: "Have you ever struggled so as to lose weight?" This does not mean that Rick needs to lose weight by asking such a question.
Anyways, my answer was showing you that Gabriel CANNOT be at the left hand of God because to sit next to God shows that you have the same power and authority.
"God raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places… . He put all things under his feet and gave him as head over all things to the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.” (Ephesians 1:20–23).
I tend to believe in these things. One thing I did not like though, was when Colton was maybe 8 or 9 and he was talking about it, I felt like he was checking off a list of items. I felt like the experience had been turned into something it was not. It was like the story was interpreted for an audience, and I doubt the spin his dad gave on it was quite what happened. I don't think it was deliberately repackaged, but it was a tiny kid's story, not something to convert people. How should you react?
Back in 1988 I might have quoted about Satan appearing as a angel of light and then taken them to some verses in Ecclesiastes that at the time seemed pretty direct and straightforward to me.
I no longer think that way at all.
Now I am sure that three year old Colton Burpo is an extremely credible witness and that he had the same type of experience that the Apostle Paul reports in II Corinthians 12:2-4.
2Corinthians 12:1 - 4
¶
It is not expedient for me doubtless to glory. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord.
I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth ; such an one caught up to the third heaven
And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth ;
How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter."
To answer your last comment first. Yeah, right, I can see how a 3 1/2 year old boy could be Satan. Also, in Colton's false vision, he sees the angel Gabriel sitting on the left hand of God.

I don't know...... but if so.......
then maybe the Holy Spirit wanted Gabriel to keep the Ancient of Days company while She went to war....... to set things up for the kingdom of her son....... (there is a school of thought that the Holy Spirit could be the Divine Feminine / God the Mother).... .and I am not smart enough to rule out that theory........ it makes sense to me.
