Numerology is a bunk. Search any number, ANY number, and it'll be an angel number; and its 'meaning' will be a variation of much the same thing.

Tell people what they want to hear, and YOU too can start a religion.

My sister introduced me to numerology/angel numbers last year. I kept noticing her posting "1234" on facebook. I finally asked what it was all about. Apparently, she'd always glance at the clock and see 12:34 during the day, with out actually looking for it. She mentioned the whole angel numbers. I ended up doing my own research, and warned her about not putting any faith in it.

Strangely, right around that time, I started seeing my own number. It took me a while to work out with God to not take this as a distraction from the enemy.

I'm glad to hear it. As long as you've eaten the frogs you've done well. :)

My face is covered. I'd probably take off a toe! I need more visibility. :zoro:

Provincetown is very popular. I love the area but the commute is bad. But weekend or seasonal trips are doable. There's a retreat in the vicinity I've had on my shortlist. I'd have the facility to myself to work on a project. Its the perfect spot to write a novel.

You don't want to undersell your frames. $200 may be a good starting point for the photo. If you sell online you could ask for more.

I have both. I use a heavier weight and brightness from Hammermill. That's overkill for this. I'd get something else.

I just bought the Caran's. Will they suffice?

They're expensive to replace. My woodworking instructor had to do so recently. A bad storm came through and the branches won. You're very industrious. That's a great skill. I don't drive. I need to learn.

Its that time of the year. Being on the water is very relaxing. I miss it and look forward to getting out again. We're still closed.

Today is quiet. The Holy Spirit roused me with a directive for order. He wants me to work on a few things this week while I have time. The next three months will be hectic. Planning is on the menu.

That was a good idea to start this, so as to not interrupt the other topic.

The reason i say use just common paper when learning is, do not treasure any drawings for a while, it will impede learning. I usually say the first 1000 drawing burn, regardless of their quality.

I have seen people learning to draw, bring this nice paper to draw on and then just sit there staring at the paper apprehensive to make that first mark.

Beautiful paper can be intimidating.

Those are nice pencils and really any pencil will be fine for learning. I just was passing along the best pencil, the Japanese just simply make the best pencils.

you do not drive and i have never flown in anything.

I knew you like woodwork did not realize you are actually working with wood, good for you. What were you learning

Well i have had this truck since 1994 (bought new) and plan to drive it till i die. It is a truck with out all the computer workings, that any vehicle comes with today.
In the past I have put two new engines and two transmissions in, so i plan to keep it going. It's kinda like an ole soul you want to keep around and going.

I was always in water, lakes and/or rivers, either fishing or skiing since a little boy.

So you are enjoying the quiet now while you can. I have not had a quite day in a while, may be an hour here and there.

Exactly. It isn't cost effective either. Where will I burn them? I don't think we're allowed to do that here.

There's a time for it of course. But not in the beginning.

I'm familiar with both. I've used Uni products in the past. I intended to take drawing classes at the local art school. But the courses aren't offered online and I won't go in person when things reopen. I like Caran's Luminance colored pencils. I wanted the graphite set too.

Throw away your pencil sharper and sharpen this way.

Thank you for the video and photo.

I forgot to order the sharpener. I probably got distracted on Amazon. I have an exact-o knife at home. A review mentioned something about the core and how their sharpener was best for the pencils. I'll look at it again.

you do not drive and i have never flown in anything.

I prefer to be driven. I like to sit in the back and relax. My mother calls me Miss Daisy. Are you afraid to fly or never got around to it? I love to travel. Plane, ground, train, boat, etc.

I knew you like woodwork did not realize you are actually working with wood, good for you. What were you learning

We did individual projects in the class. That's his teaching style. I needed a cutting table for sewing. But I required a piece with storage on casters. I was inspired by an Ikea hack. I used two cabinets and a cube as a springboard and built around them.

I added shelves in the back (behind the cube) for machines and the top is a custom piece with additional storage (drawers) with an overhang for seating and an extension (in the rear) to accommodate wider fabric. And it isn't bolted down. The cart is easy to separate. The project was more ambitious than usual sewing hacks. I altered the design to accommodate sewing and cutting.

He advised me to contact Ikea and send some shots. I'll do it and may sell the plans. The facility closed before he could deliver it. Hopefully they reopen next month. There's wood leftover from the project. I'd like to make an ironing board to sit on top of the cart. I need hemasote but I have everything else. And a thread case would be nice for the wall or something on wheels would do. That's it for me. For now.

Wow, that's cool. You're handy and mechanical too.

I was always in water, lakes and/or rivers, either fishing or skiing since a little boy.

My grandparents loved to fish. I went a couple of times. But I preferred boating. My daughter is the same. She did crew competitively. I didn't go that far.

I'm working on products and ad campaigns. That's my focus for the summer. Plus my image consulting classes. My business and life coach give me things to do as well. And its canning season. I have to take advantage of downtime when it comes.

It sounds like you're due for some much needed slowing. Or do you prefer to stay busy?

You could use a paper shredder, just do not let them live.

An x-acto will work, really any blade that is razor sharpe will do.

Well i have a good sense about what i should do and not do ( i know exactly what i like and do not like). I never liked motorcycles even ridding with someone else. which i never did. So a few years back (now about 20 years time fly's) and lady and her daughter (who was a singer classical and other kinds of music) anyway her mother was going to help her daughter make/produce a cd? (by paying for the cost, etc.). So they had the idea that she all dressed up in a fine dress was going to take cover photo for the cd. Of the girl and a person who would be the motorcycle driver. So i was asked to be the motorcycle driver, but we were just going to sit on the bike and take photos, so i was ok with that. But when i got there they had decided to take the picture while the bike was actually moving. So i was ask to drive the motorcycle, and a do not do this was in my conscience, but i ignored the warning and gave decided to give it a try.

The owner of the i told him i have never been on a motorcycle before (this was a large and nice Harley) but he said, no problem it will be fine but any way to shorten this. I crashed his bike into the photographers suburban, i just kind of, like getting ready to hit some one in football, just bowed up and got ready for impact. I got cut up on my knees and legs and chest but nothing serious where i needed to got to the hospital.

But i say that to say, i have always had the same type of feeling about airplanes just to stay away from them. And i grew up around airplanes, my uncle owned a crop duster service, that i was at most weekends when i was little i loved going to the airport that was it did not care to get in a plane.

I say that i know exactly what i like and do not like but that does not mean i will not try new things i love to learn and try things out. i have been white water rafting, water ski ramp jumping ( i have a rib sticking out from that) jumping off of bridges, rappelling etc..
But now i am older and have no bad old injury problems (from my youth), so i have kind of quieted down, but occasionally i may be tempted to do something, but i am happy figuring out a painting.

I find most women love to travel.
I have traveled around the states (about 23,24 states) but traveling is out now while i am looking after my mom.

Do not get that impression, i am not a mechanic, i know a little about cars/trucks, but when i said i put a new motor in my truck. I meant i paid my mechanic to do that.

In high school i lived to fish, most every weekend i was trying to fish somewhere. I refused to run track at school because the meets were on Saturday, my fish day.

I would have loved to have own a single scull.

So it sound like you are serious seamstress. Your project sewing table, is it finished.

I though i remember you mentioning kind of a
Martha Stewart type of style.

Rest i am not a rest type person, i am an outside person, God made me to be outside. Right now i can not take full advantage of that looking after mom. So i have more periods of being at the house helping here. But i am still usually doing something.

Like today we rode over to greenville and i bought some lumber for a few projects in the yard (one was i have started buying the wood for the raised bed) but that will take a few purchases to get all the wood i need.

I went walmart (monday) and bought a 5000 btu air conditioner for $132.00. i will fix it so it will cool the dogs house during the summer. They are starting to get older (10 years? old) and the heat can be hard here in the summer.

I'll save a few. Maybe my best of the month. Having a record of the journey is nice.

I never liked motorcycles even ridding with someone else. which i never did.

I saw a very bad accident involving a motorcycle as a child. I was looking out of the window and it happened. He didn't make it. I've never wanted to be on one. I'd consider a side car. But the bike has no appeal. But I'd ride a scooter.

I crashed his bike into the photographers suburban, i just kind of, like getting ready to hit some one in football, just bowed up and got ready for impact. I got cut up on my knees and legs and chest but nothing serious where i needed to got to the hospital.

Holy cow. You're fortunate it wasn't serious.

I say that i know exactly what i like and do not like but that does not mean i will not try new things i love to learn and try things out. i have been white water rafting, water ski ramp jumping ( i have a rib sticking out from that) jumping off of bridges, rappelling etc..

I'd water ski. My daughter tried rafting and bungee jumping. Her crew team skulled. My adventurous side is practical. I don't want to break anything. I'd like to try show jumping and cart riding.

But now i am older and have no bad old injury problems (from my youth), so i have kind of quieted down, but occasionally i may be tempted to do something, but i am happy figuring out a painting.

Understandable. Many of my interests are artistic and cultural. I enjoy physical activity. But not the sort which leads to injury.

I find most women love to travel.
I have traveled around the states (about 23,24 states) but traveling is out now while i am looking after my mom.

I've always had the bug. Now I want to soak up the culture and stay a little while. I'd enjoy seeing the country in an RV. Or a quiet escape on a boat.

You are where you're supposed to be. Duty first.

Do not get that impression, i am not a mechanic, i know a little about cars/trucks, but when i said i put a new motor in my truck. I meant i paid my mechanic to do that.

Thank you for clarifying. I liked to tinker as a child. But it wasn't encouraged. I watched and picked things up. I'd help my babysitters with DIY projects at home. Including painting.

In high school i lived to fish, most every weekend i was trying to fish somewhere. I refused to run track at school because the meets were on Saturday, my fish day.

That's devotion. I was a typical teen. Hanging out with friends and partying. Clubs allowed teens back then.

I would have loved to have own a single scull.

You can. It isn't too late.

So it sound like you are serious seamstress. Your project sewing table, is it finished.

I'm preparing to study fashion and interior design. My sewing classes were continuous. The table is done. We used MDO. But its heavy nonetheless.

I though i remember you mentioning kind of a Martha Stewart type of style.

In regard to proficiency, yes. I'm highly skilled domestically. I love to entertain.

Rest i am not a rest type person, i am an outside person, God made me to be outside. Right now i can not take full advantage of that looking after mom. So i have more periods of being at the house helping here. But i am still usually doing something.

What would you be doing normally?

My life isn't hectic. It has an ebb and flow with definite periods of leisure and relaxation. My mind is always churning. I have to turn it off and let it rest.

Like today we rode over to greenville and i bought some lumber for a few projects in the yard (one was i have started buying the wood for the raised bed) but that will take a few purchases to get all the wood i need.

I like building things. Its really peaceful. I used watch This Old House, The New Yankee Workshop, and other PBS shows. They had a big influence on me.

I've noticed all sorts of combinations myself when looking at the time, checking receipts or departure boards. The most prolific is 3:33, followed closely by 11:11 and 1:11. For a while I was waking automatically at 3:33am - for about three weeks straight actually. (I'm sure these numbers are biblical anyway.)

I've also been known to read minds and sense precise events a few days before they happen. I knew March 2020 was going to change the world forever, even back in December. Now, I'm either a prophet (unlikely) or I'm just very good at reading into current events and forming a prediction based off them.

As long as we all know that every spiritual force bar God is counterfeit, then it doesn't really matter. I honestly don't know how Satan managed to obtain so much power, the dude's a clown.

Well the motorcycle has to be the dumbest act i have done, and will not be repeating that. I felt bad for mickey whose bike it was, it was not badly damaged but still, something unnecessary.

Water skiing is a great sport, for several years i did armature competitions around the south, I ran the slalom course. We would ski 2 to 3 days a week and the sat and sunday. We built a slalom course at a lake close to greenwood and put a 16x16 floating dock out in the middle of the lake next to the course. We really had a nice setup.

Your daughter sounds like she would have been a good candidate for skiing. Was your daughter's team high school or college or just a local team.

I have never broke a bone either, but i did tear my distal end bicep tendon, lifting a sheet of 3/4" plywood two years ago. I had surgery on that and had no problems.

Were you a big dancer at the clubs or just a social gather and talk etc..

I was never a partyer as in drinking, that is another one off the activities (like flying and motorcycles) that just never appealed to me, even though most of my friends did they just new i did not.
We used to make large bonfires (good times) with old wooden shipping crates out in the middle of a gravel road. It was right in town but away form the homes. Greenwood you can have homes and the city/town then right next to the homes is large areas of farm land. I can go one block from my home and be out of the town and in farm land.

MDO that is heavy, not sure of the size but you have a heavy sewing taboret for sure.

I am not on facebook this this is where i got my cypress for my building.
DH4 Lumber

Entertain, as in an event organizer, or a person who host gatherings at your home.

My painting is done on location. So if i am going to paint a landscape, i will go to that location each time same time of day till i finish or far along enough to do small additions in my studio.

Like this painting was done right on the river.
DSCN2621++.jpg

Before i began helping with mom more, a typical summer day, would be leave the house about 7:00 a.m. go to a location paint till about 9:00 or 9:30 then go to another location till about 11:30 to 12. Then come in to get a bite to eat and put up paintings etc.., Then go back out about 2:00 and paint at least one more painting home about 4:00 to 4:30 again eat and then back out about 6:00 to try and paint one more before dark or one right at dark.

That is good you are keeping your life relaxed, mine is a little busy with helping mom and still keeping other activities going to some degree.

Like last summer i had a lady (who has bought painting from me before) call me and wanted to come over and look at a few painting. She ended up buying about 6 pictures and most of them need re-framing (they were in old frames before i started my all of my frames).

So i told her i would frame ( and one painting needed to be finished) these up, but that was at the same time mom tore her other rotator cuff. So that was really when mom started needing more help and i was not able to get away as much. But the lady was very cooperative and told me to continue on and just get them ready when i could. So i was able to get all the painting re-framed by November.

Just little tables, etc.. for the back yard to place flowers on etc.. My idea is to start using the back yard more (i have in the past painted there) for outdoor still lifes or backyard landscapes. So i can still paint but also be around if my mom needs something. I love painting water so i want a table with a little pan 24x30' or so. Where i can put water in it and do still lifes around the water in the pan painting reflections in the water.

That is good you like making wood work, saws and the power tools do not bother you.

Those are good shows.

I did build the house but it is nothing fancy but it keeps them dry when need and warm in the winter. Now i just get this air figured out they can be a little cooler this summer.

So what have you all been doing to keep busy?

It’s good to see you. I wondered where you were. What have you been up to? :)

All is well in my world. Work is busy and I’m helping my daughter with her business. She’s preparing to become a health and wellness coach. Its exciting to see things unfolding. God gave her an affinity for healthcare at a young age.

You mentioned chicks in another post. Do you raise them?

We all make unwise choices. Thankfully you weren’t harmed. I’ve had my share of zany ones too. :)

That sounds like fun! You were very adventurous. How long did it take to build the course?

Your daughter sounds like she would have been a good candidate for skiing. Was your daughter's team high school or college or just a local team.

Her hand-eye coordination is very strong. She did gymnastics and played tennis and golf simultaneously. Once she started competing I didn’t let her ski. Two local groups had rowing teams. She was coached by a former Olympian. She wanted to continue in college but I reminded her of the schedule. College teams are on the water at 4AM and practice in the afternoon. That doesn’t include the workouts. She’d have little time to herself.

These days we’re both hobbyists. There are opportunities to play golf competitively at the club level and national groups. I stagger my activities. There’s a combination of new things and others I maintain. With school on the horizon, foreign language will be my focus. Hopefully, I’ll have proficiency in French and Italian when we return.

I have never broke a bone either, but i did tear my distal end bicep tendon, lifting a sheet of 3/4" plywood two years ago. I had surgery on that and had no problems.

That sounds painful. I injured my back on the farm. Not through incident but overuse. I suspect that’s why the Lord didn’t allow me to do a year-long program. It took awhile before the problem reared its head. I’m okay now. But if I wanted a large garden or something ambitious. I’d need to hire someone to maintain it.

Were you a big dancer at the clubs or just a social gather and talk etc..

Both. I love to dance. Admittance was restricted to teens 14-18 years of age. No alcohol was served. There were house parties too. It was a different time. We had a lot of fun.

I was never a partyer as in drinking, that is another one off the activities (like flying and motorcycles) that just never appealed to me, even though most of my friends did they just new i did not.

That wasn’t my scene and I didn’t smoke either.

We used to make large bonfires (good times) with old wooden shipping crates out in the middle of a gravel road. It was right in town but away form the homes. Greenwood you can have homes and the city/town then right next to the homes is large areas of farm land. I can go one block from my home and be out of the town and in farm land.

That sounds pretty. It allows you to escape. There’s no farmland in my vicinity. Its an equal measure of retail and residences. Shopping wise its great. I can walk to everything. That’s another reason I don’t drive. I like the exercise.

MDO that is heavy, not sure of the size but you have a heavy sewing taboret for sure.

But lighter than MDF with better longevity. The table is over 200 pounds with a large surface. I’d have no problem sewing a quilt.

I am not on facebook this this is where i got my cypress for my building.
DH4 Lumber

I’ve never been to a lumber yard. He picked up the sheets for me. I live near the facility and the yard is near his home.

Entertain, as in an event organizer, or a person who host gatherings at your home.

Heavens no. I’d never put up with the demands. But I’ll learn from them and take classes to enhance my events at home. But I wouldn’t serve clients. You need the right temperament for that.

I enjoy intimate gatherings with friends and family. I mention Martha for that reason. Entertaining is different from hospitality. It’s more involved. But I like the fuss and familiarity. I like going to events and charitable fundraisers. That’s my flock. God can use someone who likes to socialize and put on a party dress for His glory. :)

My painting is done on location. So if i am going to paint a landscape, i will go to that location each time same time of day till i finish or far along enough to do small additions in my studio.

That’s nice. Painters on location have been captured many times. There’s a tranquility in the stillness. I don’t know if I’ll have an opportunity to steal away like that. But I’ll have creative pockets for sure.

Like this painting was done right on the river.

Well done! Is the river that color? Wow. I used to watch Bob Ross (who didn’t) and I recall an Irish painter on PBS. We had viewing restrictions. That may explain my creativity.

That’s a comfortable pace. How does it look now you’re caring for her?

That is good you are keeping your life relaxed, mine is a little busy with helping mom and still keeping other activities going to some degree.

I don’t want a frantic day. I was in the rat race. But fashion is worse. It thrives on that energy. I prefer a leisurely pace.

But the lady was very cooperative and told me to continue on and just get them ready when i could. So i was able to get all the painting re-framed by November.

That was kind of her to work with you. My projects were put on hold due to my grandmother’s failing health. We knew her time was fading. I wanted to be with her.

Just little tables, etc.. for the back yard to place flowers on etc.. My idea is to start using the back yard more (i have in the past painted there) for outdoor still lifes or backyard landscapes.

That sounds cozy. I think it is a good idea to take advantage of your space.

So i can still paint but also be around if my mom needs something. I love painting water so i want a table with a little pan 24x30' or so. Where i can put water in it and do still lifes around the water in the pan painting reflections in the water.

Your ingenuity gives you the best of both worlds. Having you close is a comfort. I’m certain. :)

I did build the house but it is nothing fancy but it keeps them dry when need and warm in the winter. Now i just get this air figured out they can be a little cooler this summer.

I’ve seen some really neat doghouses and beds. The pooches are spoiled these days. I’d do the same.

We all make unwise choices. Thankfully you weren’t harmed. I’ve had my share of zany ones too. :)

That sounds like fun! You were very adventurous. How long did it take to build the course?

Both. I love to dance. Admittance was restricted to teens 14-18 years of age. No alcohol was served. There were house parties too. It was a different time. We had a lot of fun.

That wasn’t my scene and I didn’t smoke either.

The course I can not remember about a month or two (planning and everything), but i look back now, we did this when there was no computer.
So it is amazing now how i found all the supplies i needed. From some where i ordered a roll of aircraft cable something like 300 yards and found buoys, they came from a water ski shop.

The course has specific measurements and we got really close if not right on. I had several skiers from Jackson come and ski the course (they ski on a course that was set in using engineering tools) and they said they notice no really difference.

It is fuuny how evrything fell into place to get this done, my uncle managed a concrete plant, so i was able to get some of their old concrete car curb stops . We used those as weights.
Had a 1992 mastercraft prostar 180 the best (in my opinion, ski nautique owners would differ) ski boat for skiing. I wonder where that boat is now.

That was really a good time in my life's history.

I have notice you write really well, as for me that is about on the same level as my motorbike ridding ability. I think i have a little dyslexia (never been tested, all that was before my time in school) but i know i am a terrible speller and my ability to pronounce words is/can be a struggle. I know i hated (especially English) school and the traditional way of learning in school.

That is good i did not smoke or chew tobacco (that is big here)

The Delta is real social, kids do all the learning of how to do this and that at dinner tables, etc.. They have Cotillion's here and other social gatherings Debutante balls etc..

Delta Magazine- The South's Premier Magazine - Cleveland, MS

The rivers (and lakes but not as much) around here are muddy, in the summer they may clear up some but not much. Not many girls (and some guys) get out of the boat into water here, most like boat ridding. But some do it just depends on the person. But the muddy water can be intimidating, especially when there are snakes, gars and alligators around.

As for me i am noting getting as much done but it will work out. i am working to get a better at home place to paint (outside) etc. But also if i get up early enough to go to my studio around 5 a.m. and work till 7:00 or 7:30
Well i try and keep mom happy. as for health she is doing fine just old at 91 and not as mobile.

I did this year when i was at school teaching art, a sitter would come and sit, just to have a person here and she likes having a person here.

They will appreciate the cooler air, they are rescues so they have ended up having it much better.

So you are currently in school or was before schools closed, I guess that keeps you busy.

The lake effect is that from a great lake.

Computers are wonderful but they're also a distraction. The project allowed you to use a lot of skills and have fun at the same time. We were really active growing up. I had my first forays in debate, acting, public speaking and leadership in elementary school. There were numerous opportunities to get involved and we created more than a few.

That's really satisfying. You should be proud of yourself. I hope you were.

Thank you for the compliment. :)

Writing is a part of my work. But I attribute much to reading as well. I cover over 200 titles per year. It has a significant impact on my communication. My teacher noticed my writing proficiency in 6th grade. She had me read a report on Christopher Columbus to the class. We were always getting in trouble. The punishment was usually a writing assignment. I was pretty convincing. I guess that was my introduction to copywriting. :p

By the way, that was a Catholic school. :D

That is good i did not smoke or chew tobacco (that is big here)

My family is from the south. I encountered tobacco while visiting my grandmother. The chewer freaked me out.

The Delta is real social, kids do all the learning of how to do this and that at dinner tables, etc.. They have Cotillion's here and other social gatherings Debutante balls etc..

My family passed the social mores and sensibilities to us. I added on to them. We were reared in an environment where etiquette was a mainstay. There are lots of pictures of me in white gloves with my little purse. I want my grandchildren to have the same and experience the balls and culture. Ladyship should be celebrated in all its forms.

Thank you for sharing the link. Southern hospitality is unforgettable.

Our family is Creole. Mud is a no go. I've been conditioned. I've had enough lectures and threats to know better. Plus I have this zany affinity for white. That won't work in the swamp or muddy water.

Right now I'm waking up at 5AM. I may move to 4 instead. I prefer early hours. If I rise at 7 I'm sluggish. You've adapted your schedule to her and that's admirable.

So you are currently in school or was before schools closed, I guess that keeps you busy.

I'm going to school overseas. The fashion program was able to go online but the interior one did not. I'm watching to see what happens. I have a backup plan in case I can't do the interior program in person. We're going to London next year. I think we'll be okay. I need a change of atmosphere.

My classes here are done. I can't afford to get sick. It would affect my timeline and that's foremost.

The lake effect is that from a great lake.

Lake Michigan. I can see it outside my window. The beach is a block away. It is warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer.

What part of the south. would that be Louisiana. You said Creole is that Louisiana or Haitian Creole.

You mean you would not want to go mudden, in your nice white cloths, mud makes great dye. You can get some rich colors from the iron etc..

Early hours are nice and Sunday nights are really nice in my studio also, downtown is basically empty.
Years ago i just started waking up early (5 or 6) i never use an alarm clock.
With mom now, i am up somethimes helping her go to the bathroom, that is, when she calls and ask for help. But sometimes i go out and it is hard to wake me until i wake up.

Hope you have a good experience on your trip and it works out so you can get your class in. Go by the national Gallery of art for me and take a look at the great drawing and art. That will be great if you are doing any drawing, you will see excellent drawings.

Summer is here if you have good weather get out in the sun and get the vitamin d, essential from staying sick free. That what i have been doing, we have had nice sunny weather.

If you are on the Michigan side of lake Michigan, i have been from the bottom to basically the top, to traverse city. I stayed with a family (one night) who owned a Greek restaurant in, i think in St Joseph. Before i went on up to interlochen.

I watched and picked things up. I'd help my babysitters with DIY projects at home. Including painting.

I'm preparing to study fashion and interior design. My sewing classes were continuous. The table is done. We used MDO. But its heavy nonetheless.

That will be nice when its done. What other projects are you planning for the wood?

I like building things. Its really peaceful. I used watch This Old House, The New Yankee Workshop, and other PBS shows. They had a big influence on me.

~Bella

Like i was saying, i do not do much with wood except my frames an other needs that i have personally. But i have made a few large puzzles from wood.
Here is one.

~Bella
Its good to see you too. Things have been going pretty well in my life.
Im doing my best to keep busy with zoom bible studys and spending time with my mom.
Thats great about your daughter. We have 6 grownup hens but since they are old arent laying much,

Computers are nice especially for ordering art supplies, this place is the only social site i go to. Not on facebook, twitter, etc..

I use social media professionally. But that includes some measure of intrusion. I’m comfortable capturing my experiences in images and film. But it isn’t ideal for some.

I am now in reflection, but when we were making the course we juts wanted to get finished so we could ski. There were no pat on the backs saying good job but lets hit the course.

My mother is gifted in helps and mercy. We heard a lot of affirmation growing up. She would have celebrated and made you a treat afterward.

Catholic Schools, i hear they are thorough was that to 12th grade.

I went through freshman year. I transferred to reconnect with my best friend and shorten my commute.

Was that your grandmother who chewed or dipped snuff or somebody that at your grandmothers

Someone there. My father’s mother was laid back. Mum’s was fussy. Hence my response. ;)

NOLA.

You mean you would not want to go mudden, in your nice white cloths, mud makes great dye. You can get some rich colors from the iron etc..

I don’t like being dirty. I recall wearing a pair of jeans that grazed the ground and my aunt shuddered, called them unsanitary and offered to take me shopping. This happened a few years ago. She was right. :D

Special muds are used in spa treatments. That’s okay. I’m aware of natural dyes but haven’t tried it yet.

Early hours are nice and Sunday nights are really nice in my studio also, downtown is basically empty.
Years ago i just started waking up early (5 or 6) i never use an alarm clock.

I like early hours. The city is quiet. It looks really pretty when all is still. I don’t use an alarm either. Sometimes the Lord rouses me earlier to talk or pray. That’s usually around 3AM.

Hope you have a good experience on your trip and it works out so you can get your class in.

Thank you. Fortunately, I’d planned to go next year. Being there when the virus hit would have been stressful. Now that I’ve been through it I know what to do and how to prepare. I’m keeping an eye on things. But I won’t travel internationally until the spring.

Go by the national Gallery of art for me and take a look at the great drawing and art. That will be great if you are doing any drawing, you will see excellent drawings.

We’ll probably have excursions there. The program is run like a firm and includes real projects and several outings. I have many years of drawing ahead.

Summer is here if you have good weather get out in the sun and get the vitamin d, essential from staying sick free. That what i have been doing, we have had nice sunny weather.

We’re still shutdown and our cases are increasing. I’m prone to sunburn. I minimize my exposure.

I’m in IL. Water cradles the city in certain areas. The beaches are closed. Some parks are available but the rest are not.

You must have a blog or a facebook page.
I notice you said in elementary you did a little acting/production/drama did this carry on, into your computer work.

That would be me the computer is good but only so much for me.
It has been helpful in locating art supplies, as i am in a location where they are just not available.

That would have been nice of your mom, good you mom did that for you.
I was, kind of like, when i was doing something i wanted to be left alone. My mom is (still) very nosy she wants to know what i am doing etc..And i am a quite type so she would have to drag it out of me. She would ask a 1000 questions.

Like making the course, i would have been getting all this stuff in and she would be wanting to know whats going on. I would have just said i am making something, then the questions would keep coming.

But i had an idyllic childhood growing up no worries. Our vacation each year was in Destin/Ft Walton i looked forward to that trip, more that i would have christmas.

Did you ever get to visit her in New Orleans, if you did, did she ever treat you to any crawdads.

Well dirty is part of the art life (well at least the way i work at art), Not muddy type dirty, but as i type this i have paint (that has dried) on my hands.

So you would not work in a garden.

You can see the lake form you home, that must be a nice view. I have always like water especially when we went to Florida for summer vacation each year, a lot of good times in the past. I would not trade my childhood for, anyone else's, childhood.

Thank you, i get by. I can not remember not too long may be a month. Of course i usually have two or three or more (Just depends) things going at once so it can be hard keeping up with time.

That is just common pine, noting special. This was made for my art room at school for the kids to try. So i did not want to use a nice wood, they can tear up anything.

Here is one more, another wood puzzle.
