That is not the same thing as "predicts" a specific order of fossils."
So precious - you're not even trying to hide your bait and switch.

My whole life Evolutionists have been screaming incessantly that the order of fossils in the geologic column is direct evidence of evolution ... One of the most popular memes is that "the fossils prove evolution" ... What is with this giant backpedal all of the sudden?

I'll repeat:
You can't claim that the specific order of fossils is direct evidence of Evolution, without also claiming that Evolution theory expected that specific order of fossils. It's either both or neither.

If it's neither, then you're just writing evolution stories based on the fossil order that was discovered, (i.e. ad-hoc.)

But it sounds like you've already conceded this, which I'm happy to see....

So the fossil order is not evidence of Evolution.... If only you guys admitted stuff like that in the popular science magazines!

I have been reading your old threads. You are not as... informed... as you clearly think you are.

And your blog? What blog? Exactly...

Maybe more tomorrow - off to recruit members for the grand conspiracy to... do something...

If I'm so wrong then try channeling some of this hostility into actual arguments, and try and stay on topic, thanks.

Considering that the YEC is a fee-based organization, by invitation only, and must be under 45 y.o.a., I don't know of any mature Christian who has achieved a walk with the Lord that would be impressed by those credentials. But, if they impress you with the idea that they understand creation in the first place, all I can say is, enjoy.
If you don't even know that YEC means Young Earth Creationism in the context of an evolution/creationism debate, perhaps you should step back and let other creationists make the mistakes.

I think that the problem is that you don’t understand the meaning of common words like “predict” and “specific”.

The ToE claims are very well backed up. If you dont know that then you are uneducated.

How does anything you've said here thus far, answer the op's challenge?
I think he was assuming at least someone here was educated enough?

Wonder what would have happened had I told my 9th grade teacher: "Hey, Teach! I didn't take the test because I'm not responsible for your education!"

BTW, did any one take the challenge? If not, what was our favorite excuse?

I am absolutely suggesting it. Why would it not be feasible if you believe the bible? Satan, after all, is the greatest liar. If he was permitted to try to tempt Jesus who is God, then why would he not be permitted to tempt mankind by planting simple, false evidence?

This goes back to what I say about rejecting an objective universe. If you reject that the universe is objective, then you can make up whatever you want. But unfortunately you will have no way of testing those ideas.

Essentially what you believe is the philosophical equivalent of Last Thursdayism.

Man then takes those partial lies and runs with them, event to the point of declaring a species extinct for 40m years only to find they are not extinct, but still living today?

Assuming you are talking about the Coelacanth, you're grossly distorting the actual story here. Extinct Coelacanth species are still extinct. Modern Coelacanth are a different species altogether.

Article begins with a strawman:

"This article is a detailed examination of the young earth creationist claim that the geologic column does not exist...."

I am not making that claim.

The claim originated with YECs. It's not a strawman to point that out.

Did you know that modern Coelacanths are so different from the ancient fossils that they aren't even classified as the same genus?
Did you know I don't care. Those of us who are saved by Jesus Christ don't need to argue about how you think you got here, nor are we required to convince anyone that it is required of them to accept Christ as their savior. To believe in Christ places those sort of questions into a shopping basket with groceries we n

No, you force me to jump ahead of where I was going with this. I used to believe all of those stories because I needed something physical to justify my faith. Then, one day I figured out I wasn't justifying my faith, I was justifying my lack of faith. I learned that my faith in Christ was sufficient. God is sufficient. And the overall blessing of salvation through the sacrifice of Christ IS sufficient. I no longer need those stories and yes, my soul rests in the knowledge of, and the personal knowing of Jesus our Lord.

That's nice. It still doesn't change the fact your beliefs appear to be the philosophical equivalent of Last Thursdayism.

As I said, "my soul rests in the knowledge of, and the personal knowing of Jesus our Lord." And that is sufficient. Unfortunately it appears I am hijacking OP's intention off subject so I quit, with apologies.

For you perhaps. Fortunately that is not the case for everyone. Especially since that you, like all of us, have benefited from those who acquire and apply knowledge.

-When do the mammals evolve? Where do you specifically expect to find them in the geologic column?
If nobody has been digging for fossils, how do we have any understanding of the geologic column? Are you claiming that the geologic column has been understood without a single fossil being found?

Absolutely... but it wasn't us who brought up the Coelacanths as evidence against geology, paleontology or evolution.

I think it's very dishonest to make an argument using evidence you neither understand nor care about the details of.

Another deep explanation, I see. :)

I guess that beats sticking with the subject of the original post and answering the OP's challenge. ;)

No, its just my points went over your head.

The op is useless and not worth bothering with.
