You didn't look hard enough.... first page 5th er 6th post... "christianity is for noobs".................
I think you're so right - HOWEVER, I do know Erwin was bombarded by complaints - (too bad he didnt just change what defines a CHRISTIAN and solve alot of it that way - he wouldn't have to remove what he has and water it down so much).I found Christian Forums the same way.
I am saddened that political correctness and humanitic world views have infiltrated the heart of the head of CF. A price will be paid. We should pray for Erwin.
Speak for yourself I reach out to the rest of the world daily. Is God's Great Commission limited to "social networking". We are just trying to limit God by focusing on Christians and forget the rest of the world.
Yeah, I saw it when I was reading through. Its there. But you can hardly take one example and slap it on a whole group of people and say "SEE!! LOOK!! They're drooling with glee!!!"You sure it's this thread A2J? I just checked the first 20 posts and i'm totally missing it somehow. Got a link handy by any chance? Cause i'll gladly tell that person to show a little more courtesy ... in fact, I just said it.
Not if there was no definition for what a Christian is.ok, I will say one other thing...
why couldn't the name be changed to something like Christian Outreach Forums? I think a title such as that would incorporate option 1 (a Christian forum) and option 2 (we as Christians reaching out to the non-Christians here).
bottom line is the word "Christian" or "Christ" should have stayed in the title.
You either fight for it & vote yourself silly to try to keep it, or you pack your bags up & go web searching for another one.My only question is if the conservative Christian forums have a subforum for Eastern Orthodox. I can take part in "social networking" on a thousand or more different sites on the internet. Only Christian Forums had that name and that mission attached to it. Now that the name and mission has been flushed down the toilet, what appeal does this site have to any real Christian wanting to fellowship with other real Christians?
*sigh*
It's going to be an interesting week here at CF
I have been a site supporter for some time, but when it runs out, so be it--I will NOT renew until the name of Christ is returned to the site name. And yes, this just might be the last straw. I will now seriously consider leaving staff. The changes overnite are disgusting--and nothing more that that!
Look, it was a group of Christian who made it their personal quest to convince Erwin to take "Christian" out of the name of this forum. Let's not start blaming the "atheists" LOL!
I am shocked but not surprised.
The site is much more sale-able now Erwin give it a few months and all those Bible believing Christians will go away and then you will have something worth selling.
Not to worry there are places to go
http:://www.conservative-christian-forums.com
http://www.christcenteredforums.com
http://www.carm.org
http://www.fresh-hope.com
http://hisholyspace.com
I encourage all Christians of good faith to go to these places to fellowship.
BTW Yes I am a principle at http://www.conservative-christian-forums.com and before a mod takes and removes that link your rules say I need a pecuniary interest in the site. CCF is free and we DO NOT accept donations. We would rather you feed the hungry and clothe the naked in your own community.
Praying for your soul Erwin. Blow the dust off your Bible there is something there you need to see:
Mat 10:33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
