How do you rid yourself of fornicators/unclean spirits of lust etc.

Is there a prayer of protection or cleansing you can pray. To keep chaste and pure?

Not quite sure how to answer that.

We stay chaste and pure by our decision to fight sin and temptation, in the strength of the Lord. Fixing our eyes on HIM, the author and perfecter of faith. And then sticking to the decision.

You would need the services of someone gifted and trained in the Charism of Discerning of Spirits [1 Cor 12] to determine if there are demons/spirits of lust etc. in operation. A general check may be had in the text of an article in this magazine on page 18 entitled "Flesh or Demons?"

The Holy Ghost is power to live righteous and Holy. I've seen people go through the process of salvation and have God remove some of these types of temptations from them, and I've seen people get saved and have to wrestle with them until they broke loose. But we can rest assured that God gave us access to all of the strength and power we need through the holy ghost and we also know that he would put no more on us than we can bear.

As far as unclean spirits go 2 Cor 3:17 says where the spirit of the Lord is there is liberty. Holiness and unclean spirits cannot occupy the same space. When Jesus walked upon the shore, the demons began to cry out and scream and squirm because of the anointing Jesus walked with. We are supposed to have that same mind as Jesus and be filled with the same Holy Ghost, there is no place for uncleanness, when we are walking after the spirit.

Hmm I just dont want unclean spirits hanging round, if I keep hanign out with lukewarm christians it seems like they dont take a stand against fornication thinking its ok. Maybe cos they did in the past and even married someone they fornicated with. Cos a husband of one tried to come on to me.

It was subtle but I just dont want them around. Do I just tell them to get lost.

I don't really understand what you are asking? You are fornicating or someone is trying to fornicate with you? If you are being tempted, you need to take every thought captive and renew your mind with God's word. Stop sinning and repent. Ifsomeone is trying to come on to you, you tell them to stop that it is not right and get away from them. Your OP makes me think of witchcraft or spells for cleansing. I don't know if that is what you were meaning, but it's concerning.

In the city I live, we have a stock yard and a meat processing plants. Basically a 3-4 city block area where hogs are housed, slaughtered, processed, packaged, and shipped off to a grocery store near you. If you spend anytime down there. Whether you are working there, stopping by to pick someone up, or just walking past... you will stink. You will carry that smell into your car and your car will stink. You will go in your house and your house will stink.

The environment you choose to go into contaminated the other environments in your life. That is all very clear with hogs in a stockyard, but people seem to make that distinction when it comes to other people!

You seem to be hanging out with people who are knowingly engaging in risque behavior, and wondering why when you come away from them their is a strange spirit around. 2 Corinthians 6:17 tells us to come out from among them and be separate.

Another way the world explains this is the saying, "one bad apple spoils the whole bunch!" I have never seen a bunch of good apples change the bad one - it always works the other way around! When you hang around compromisers you are setting yourself up for a compromising time!

It starts with controlling the mind. That includes the media, like R rated, really most, from Hollywood. Remember the Bible says that if you lust for someone in your heart you have already committed adultery. The prayers, maybe fasting, should be to learn to control your thoughts.

Well, a fornicator is a person who fornicates. I'm not sure what you mean by ridding yourself of people who fornicate.
I don't know that an "unclean spirit of lust" exists. The Bible does not describe areas of specialty for unclean spirits.

I'm sure that you could form a prayer to God that meets your individual need, and that God will answer it according to his righteousness.

Hmm well, this friend I havent quite cut her off yet cos she did asked to hang with me, but am not going to her place anymore and am going with another believer. I dont normally see her husband but he was being real nosy and asked if I had a boyfriend, the last time I saw him he asked me to stay the night as his wife was in hospital and i thought what. So I took my mum with me. Just for a visit. I dont know if he was stressed out or actually drunk. I couldnt smell anything but her mother said he can get maudlin. Thankfully i was able to get away before he trapped me.

As for hollywood i have to be careful of what movies I see, it was just one dvd was r13 and had lot of swearing in it due to a guy with tourettes, but then it also had a sex scene in it that was not cut out, and after having that picture in my head It was a bit unsettling. A friend recommended it to me, it wasnt glorifying the dysfunction but yea I guess it was affecting me.

Ive had plenty of men lust after me (in the past) and not shy about letting me know that. :-( In general I stay away but it seems because some of my friends think its ok to engage in that behaviour they kind of bring that into my life, indirectly.

You're describing a different situation entirely. Never be alone with someone who is making unwelcome passes at you.

well this friend, the compromiser, I suppose you call her, I wanted to cut her off because she kept needling me to go shopping with her.
(to indulge in her fix, or addiction). But it seems its a bit difficult to do so because she was so insistent that I go with her shopping.

Like she would invite me somewhere, then I'd agree and then she'd add in at the last moment some things I didn't want to do. Because I agreed to the other things she then expects me to say yes to the last thing.

After I realised what she did, I had to ring her back and say, well no I changed my mind am not going after all, but suggest some other activity with another believer.

If I keep going shopping or hang out with her alone, she will find a way, if she doesn't repent, to get me to do things her way not God's way.

Its not even fornication as such but just activities that don't honor God like aimless walking around the shopping mall. I think she does this to escape her life maybe. I notice compromisers do get fixated on their appearance and always want to buy new clothes and follow the latest fads etc to look good on the outside, to an obssessive degree. But this is stuff the gentiles worry about - those that don't know God.

I'm trying to see if she'll come to church instead. Or maybe its shes thoroughly compromised herself that she thinks its too late? I mean once you joined yourself with an unbeliever, how can you be separate unless you divorce?

Mark 9:25 When Jesus saw that the people came running together, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it: “Deaf and dumb spirit, I command you, come out of him and enter him no more!”

Is your friend fornicating? or her husband is trying to fornicate with you? or just walking around the mall? I'm still confused about what you are really asking.
If you are single and someone comes on inappropriately to you; you ask them to stop and you tell someone. I was in that situation more than once as a single. It is scary, but you ask God to help you and you tell the person to leave you alone. I told two friends so that they would not leave me alone with this person, or if they saw him trying to single me out they would suddenly appear. This happened in a group setting, but I think it would be easier if it was at someone's home. Just don't go over to their house. And tell the spouse who is presumably your friend that you are not going to go over to their house anymore.

But shes not catholic and neither am i.
The catholic girl I knew excommunicates me but she was actually the one who was obsessed with the horror movies. I thought she would be confessing to a RCC priest about stuff like that but instead she confesses to me! We dont talk anymore.

How do i cut this person off since I known her for years.

She did ask if she was still my friend and I found myself saying 'yes' but maybe I should have said NO.

And then said well you are friends with the world and a friend of the world is at enmity with Christ. But I didnt know what to say when she asks me point blank over the phone. Or maybe I should have turned the question on her and said I dont know are you friends with Jesus?
