What "lies" are these from Ford? That she flew in an airplane?

I'm baffled as to why people seem to think that this is a smoking gun. I hate shots but I got my flu shot Monday. Does that mean that I'm "lying" about hating shots, or that there are some situations where I don't mind shots quite so much?

If she had any evidence, you might have a valid point. But she has no evidence, none, therefore trust is in the eye of the beholder.

She doesn't have smoking-gun DNA solid evidence but I also see no reason why she would making this all up.

As much evidence as Ford has presented.

This all seems a bit vague. Maybe it's all perfectly legitimate and not made up at all, but who is this guy? Does Dr. Ford admit to knowing him and what does she say to his allegations? Is she presumed innocent or guilty of his charges? I think I need a scorecard.

Now my newest one is going crazy over the fact that the same people who whined and raged because Democrats were supposedly believing an anonymous, unsourced report are....believing an actual anonymous, unsourced report because it tells them what they want to hear about Dr. Ford.

Just for clarity, the ex-boyfriend (while countered by Dr. Ford and Agent Mclean) IS actually named and his address given, but those parts are redacted from the public release of the document. There's no question the ex-boyfriend isn't simply imaginary (all double-negative puns withstanding), and that Agent Monica Mclean and Dr. Ford know who he is (with all due apologies to our grammarians who've noticed my ending of a sentence, two sentences with "is" (or a sentence and a hanging parenthetical clause?).

I've been told by a poster on these forums that Ford walked the 6-8 miles to her home that night, which would be about 2-3 hours at a normal pace without stopping. Don't know where the walking home claim came from though.

If it was serious enough and provable that he did then yes, if it's the silly insinuations I've been hearing for the last week from people who hate him then no. Just because some folks want to change things from presumed innocent until proven guilty to presumed guilty to never ever proven innocent doesn't mean I will go along with it...
