Yes, but why isnt it okay?

I am trying to demonstrate that all morals are subjective, there is no such thing as an absolute moral. That right and wrong does not exist.

Actually there is already a topic in this forum for this, I believe it's called something like "Right and Wrong, an age-old question".

A lot people complain that Christians "force their beliefs" on others. I think about what that means and I cannot come up with a clear definition. I do not see how you can force someone to believe what you believe outside of force of logic. If you show them something and they are forced to believe it then all you have done is highlighted reality for them. Maybe someone could clarify exactly what secret mind powers other Christians possess that they are using to force non-Christians to believe things?
By you posting this it makes me wonder if you've ever read a thread in this forum.
A religion is forcing their beliefs onto others when they try to enforce their belief system as law WHEN it serves no other benefit to society.
So of course this means a lot of Christian doctrine will coincide with what benefits society... thou shall not steal murder, etc.
However, it is absolutely wrong and hypocritical when the only reason to prohibit an action is because of some religious belief.
Try not to ever get confused about this again.

nothing he can say would make your post anymore correct, sorry.

How do you choose your president, the person with the majority vote right?

Thats what I mean, nothing exists on its own and yes there needs to be protections set up, but G dub is the prez because more people want him to be prez than any other canidate...am I wrong in that...therefore the leader is voted in by the majority.

democracy is two wolves and a sheep deciding whats for dinner.

we have a form of democracy, a representative democracy, but it lies within the larger, greater constitutional republic, which would be the best term to describe our country.

when people complain that we force our beliefs on them, they are not saying we are forcing them to believe them, but rather to act according to our beliefs.

How do you choose your president, the person with the majority vote right?

the US president is chosen by an elected group of officials, called the electoral college. yes the people vote (popular vote), but the winner is chosen by the electoral college. it has happened in the past that the two have not agreed. the vote from the electoral college is the deciding vote.

Yes, you are wrong in that. Clinton didn't win a majority in either election. He won by plurality. Majority isn't an end-all, be-all foundation of democracy. Besides, our election is by electoral college, not outright majority or plurality.

Dishonesty? What dishonesty? We really do have an electoral college. Clinton really did win by plurality. These facts are easily verifiable, if you bothered to check.

Merely to point out that without God there is no such thing as absolute right and wrong...people say slavery is wrong and I ask why....no one has answered as yet.
because 'it hurts' people...why is hurting people wrong?...because you wouldn't want to be hurt, so then you shouldn't hurt others.

which boils down to 'treat others as you would want to be treated'. but is even more poignant when stated as, 'treat others as they would want to be treated'.

In another thread,
link?

In another thread, and you've been told to let it go. How am I dishonest for not falling into a trap?

this really is my last post untill you have answered my question, there was no trap merely trying to get a grasp of your understanding of this bloband what it was.

If you wish to keep answering the posts feel free, but this is my last response untill you answer that question........because if you can refuse to answer questions there, you can refuse it anywhere and I wish to debate with those that will follow through, not dance a gig with all that tom foolery.

Thank you

God Bless.
