CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

RESTLESS!!!! I don't know what to do with myself. My house is as clean as it's going to get, I've stocked my freezer with meals, I've done all the paperwork and bills I can do and I've finished my church work. I guess I could read but I start to read and then I get up and wander around for a while... it totally feels like I have ADD.
I woke up last night in some pain and got really excited thinking "could this be it?" . But it wasn't. It sure was fun being excited for that little while though!

Having some pain yesterday and today- just very mild pain that feels kind of like period pain. I'd almost forgotten what that feels like! Baby is quite active; I don't know what to make of it all.

I thought I was going to go into labour last night because about 10 people called me out of the blue yesterday offering car seats, play pens and just good wishes and encouragement. It was awesome.
My best friend came over and WASHED MY KITCHEN FLOOR FOR ME. That's love, people. I had mentioned that I was going to do it today because my parents arrive tomorrow and she came over saying "God told me to come and wash your floor. There's no WAY you're gettin' down on your hands and knees girlfriend."
Jesus really showed His love to our family yesterday through the body and man, I am overwhelmed and so so grateful to be a part of His body.
Anyway, I had labour dreams all night and they were so vivid I hardly feel like I slept but NOTHING, and I mean NOTHING is going on except I feel exceptionally heavy today. Guess I'll be making that doctor's appointment tomorrow after all.

That's awesome-- I had someone when I was two days postdates with Lucy- come and scrub my tub and toilet for me..... that was the greatest act of love anyone has ever done for me!
