CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

A nurse recently told me that she's seen a couple women try this 3 days in a row (or a couple times in one day) and then come in w/ contractions started (finally) but dehydrated from them "going" so much that they needed IV's right away....
from what I understand... it's fine as long as mom's not going hog wild on the stuff trying to get baby out.

Well, there will be no castor oil, no more sex, no more bumpy boat or car rides or any of that stuff as we will be checking in to the hospital for inducing tomorrow morning at 8!!I've been waiting 20 years for this and I thank Christ for giving me another chance at motherhood.
Ladies, I'd just really appreciate some prayer for baby's safety and for mine too. Most of all, pray that God will be glorified!

That's so sweet. I hope your labor is everything you've been hoping for.Can't wait to hear about the baby after she/he is born.

I would definately rather be induced as opposed to Castor oil..... ick.... Anyways Good luck NC....... I hope you are holding your little bundle of joy in your arms soon.... praying for you

well it's been about 10 hours (if your in the same time zone as me) since you've checked in... I'm hopeing that baby is doing great and all went well. I can't wait to hear your birth story and hopefully see a photo!

i hope it only took her 10 hours...took me 16 and i still didn't fully dialate and needed a c-section...

Heh...when I went in to be induced, labor finally started kicking in after 10 hours or so...Natalie was born at 5:12 am... Hope it's going (gone?) faster!
