Indeed and it continued "EVERY Sabbath" according to Acts 18:4 instead of "one or two Sabbaths then all Christians meet on EVERY week-day-1" as some have much-imagined the text should have said.

They were babes who hadn't yet learned that Sabbath was a shadow.

In Acts 13:14-16, 42-44 we see that in just ONE or TWO Sabbaths they were being convinced of the Gospel - especially the gentiles!

No wonder Is 66:23 says that for all eternity when the wicked have all perished "From Sabbath to Sabbath shall ALL MANKIND come before Me to worship" - (hint - that is certainly - "after the cross")

Your blinders-on solution requires ignoring a great deal of scripture all for the sake of man-made tradition.

Give me the Bible "instead".

They continued like babes yes, who didn't yet understand that OC Sabbath was a shadow. Look at Romans 14, we see Paul reasoning with such men who were weak in faith, and the Corinthians who were babes in Christ, like the Hebrews who were not yet ready for the meat of the word.

Were the Apostles some of those weak in the faith? They never willingly continued to break YHWH'S commandments - and if they did, YHWH'S WORD explained what they did to repent.

The arguments presented to break YHWH'S commands all come from man's traditions , or worse.
There is no indication in SCRIPTURE anywhere, that any ecclesia should continue to willingly break YHWH'S commands.

You are placing a great deal of effort to argue the case that the Bible is not making and in fact flatly contradicts not only the Bible but also - EVEN - pro-sunday Bible scholarship - not just the pro-Bible Sabbath scholars.

you have chosen the hard path of opposing both the Bible and almost all Bible-scholarship and wonder "how it is" that we find so many holes in the solution you are patching together.

That kind of solution leaves a zillion glaring flaws for all to see.

Making stuff up as you go - is a lot harder than just accepting what the Bible says.

You bob, are the one who is clearly misrepresenting scripture. These people were still infants in Christ, and many were not even Christians yet. They are hardly an example of a mature Church. Admit the truth Bob. Your argument about acts 17 and 18 is weak.

That was spoken to unbelieving Pharisees. Gentiles in the NC didn't need Moses at all. The apostles taught them Gods command and it wasn't Moses Law either. They were taught about love, faith, and hope in Christ

Why don't we let the Apostle Paul give his viewpoint of this Old Testament prophecy?

Col 2:16　 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:　
Col 2:17　 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.　


There is no doubt that a time is coming when all will come to bow down to Him.


Rom_14:11　 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

Php_2:10　 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;


A Judaiser finds the word "Sabbath" in the Old Testament and does everything in his power to use it to make his doctrine work.
No surprises here...
