  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Where's Putnam county? Isn't that where they raise hogs and grass seed???? ;)

90 miles north of Orlando. 60 miles south of Jacksonville. 30 miles west of St Augustine. 50 miles east of Gainsville.

Mmm. Woody's. We used to have on in Tallahasse but it closed down like in '94 I think. I don't know why tho. It always seemed to be packed. Sonny's is still there and humming along. I ate there last time I visited a few months ago. I love my NC bbq here, but Woody's and Sonny's is good too!

No way, I was there, like to say 3 saturdays ago esting at your place at night around 6. I was up in the area for the Strawberry Festival in Plant City. I ordered the baby back rib platter. full rack, bbq beans, and fries with a coke. Man, I forgot how big those cokes are. I've always loved woody's and fortuanitly I have one down in Oakland Park, about a 15 minute drive. I was sitting, right when you come in on the right on the half booth/ 2 chair set up. I forgot the waitress's name, but she did an excellent job, she had long dark hair and was like my age. She said thats her favorite entree too . She had a hat on too.

Also, did they just open that one up down in Lake Placid too recently?

Shout out to PC! I lived in Tallahassee for a long time and I've been to PC many times. Does it bother you when people call PC Beach the "Redneck Riviera?" I always thought it was cute. ; ) Last time I was there (at the beach) the main pier was still closed from hurricane Floyd (is that the right one?).
