From something heard a decade or so ago,
when babies/little children are taught starting with words like "millions of years ago",
so they believe it not knowing better,

and they grow up still believing it not knowing better,
for those babies now grown up, is it a conspiracy or better called something else? some other kind of deception ?

Deception. Sadly though, some don't want to search beyond childlike teaching to find the truth, because, then they would have to admit;
1) that a holy God exists,
2) that we are all sinners, who fall short, and 3) are in need of a saviour (Jesus)

:sigh:

Where ... have ... I ... ever ... claimed ... light ... traveled ... faster ... back ... then?
Again, your writings appear evasive, so it is hard to understand what you are saying. It sure seemed to me that you were suggesting that light traveled faster than the current speed of light in order to make it to Earth in 6000 years.

If this is not what you were hinting at with your evasive answer, what were you hinting at?

Again, we know that light got to the earth from stars that are millions of lightyears away. If the Earth is 6000 years old how did that light manage to get to Earth?

You will be thrilled to find out that I was willing to search beyond childlike teaching to find the truth. I grew up in Sunday school, Christian schools, and Bible studies. I was taught what to believe.

And then I started search beyond the faith I inherited. See How My Mind Was Set Free.

Irregardless of how old the earth is, if light is coming to us from stars that are a million lightyears away, then that light is coming to us via wormholes.

And I use wormholes just as an example.

God may be using another method.

But wormholes sounds plausible to me.

For now.

I responded to your wormhole argument at the addendum of How Old is the Earth?.

AV1611VET also argues that the light from distant stars could come through wormholes. Einstein’s equations say that shortcuts through spacetime might be possible. We call them wormholes. And so, if light found such a significant shortcut, it could travel from far across the universe in a short time without exceeding the speed of light. However, such wormholes have never been observed. Further, if they could occur, they would be extremely unstable. See What are wormholes?, wormhole | Definition & Facts, and Wormholes to Heaven.
There are billions of galaxies out there that are over 1 million lightyears away. It is totally unfeasible to suggest that all this light comes through wormholes.

Hmmm ... imagine that.

Sure is.

I'll bet He made a lot of stars too! and drops of water! and grains of sand!

And electrons!

Whoo boy!

I'll bet He made a pile of them!

Someone estimated there are 10⁸⁰ electrons in the universe.

Do you buy that?

Could be. I don't really feel like trying to do the calculation right now. There are almost 10^57 in the Sun alone.

I think that, if God wanted, each and every star could have 5, 6, maybe 10 or a thousand of its own wormholes.

Maybe even a billion or two.

I doubt it myself.

But I hope you see the point I'm making.

Evidently wormholes can't be seen.

So if they exist, they must exist in the spiritual realm.

If they're in the "spiritual realm', then I have no reason they follow the laws of physics. So why would there be bending of space time to form a worm hole. Wormholes are just not necessary for anything.

(of course I don't see your point. Like most of them it is obscured in layers of obfuscation and other nonsense.)

Science getting in the way, is it?

of your idiosyncratic theology, it usually does.

I have a feeling my theology doesn't need to be "idiosyncratic" for science to get in its way.

Jesus walking on water got in the way of science.
