You can detect Jupiter moving across the background stars live? I doubt it. If you want to see Jupiter with details all you need is a 12" telescope or so.

I posted a video that is a recording of the star jupiter moving across the sky. So if those photos of jupiter are real post a video of of that jupiter moving across the sky.

Given the width of Jupiter on that image, the field of view is about 5-10 arcminutes across or about 1/12th to 1/6th of a degree based on the diameter of Jupiter. The whole sky rotates 15 degrees per hour or 1 degree every 4 minute, so Jupiter should take about 1/3 to 2/3rds of a minute to cross. It took 40 seconds which is perfectly consistent with the video and the 24-hour ROTATION OF THE EARTH. Congratulations, you've demonstrated the Earth rotates. (I could do better with the actual field of view of the camera and knowledge of the zenith angle of Jupiter when the video was shot.)

I get that your book says that the Earth doesn't move. It's not just that I don't care what it says, but...

After years of science, nasa, etc... stating we have done this or that. Sent pictures back from mars, landed on an asteroid, photograph the moon and earth out in space. But never have i seen a live recording (as i have post of jupiter) of the earth moving through space. I mean if this is real, set up a camera on the moon and record at least minute of the earth moving through space
