Happily, it's quite simple to show that a flat earth claim is entirely false.

My question would be satellite tv. Are the satellites stuck on the firmament? I've aimed a few satellite dishes is my day and there is a specific spot in the sky to aim at. How do you get around that.

This is a fish eye lens shot which is all to common in space photography. Look at the size of the land marks compared to the overall size of the globe they are on. The are out of proportion due to the fisheye effect.

It's looking through a window........you're seeing the WINDOW's EDGE....NOT the earth's edge. It's amazing you cannot tell this.

If it wasn't looking through the window.....then the earth is not EVEN spherical. Compare that to the other pictures of the earth NASA shows us.

I mean come on, this is just so basic....how can you not understand!

Sorry, I wasn't clear. I understand how it works in the globe model. How would it work on a flat earth. How would you have the 22,000 miles for geosynchronous orbit?

1) The horizon always appears perfectly flat 360 degrees around the observer regardless of altitude. All amateur balloon, rocket, plane and drone footage show a completely flat horizon over 20+ miles high. Only NASA and other government “space agencies” show curvature in their fake CGI photos/videos.

2) The horizon always rises to the eye level of the observer as altitude is gained, so you never have to look down to see it. If Earth were in fact a globe, no matter how large, as you ascended the horizon would stay fixed and the observer / camera would have to tilt looking down further and further to see it.

As one person pointed out, all we know of the globe is NASA or the military. Prove a globe without them.

I haven't heard of any school that teaches a flat earth. That would be grounds for stripping someone of their teaching license. It's just conspiracy theory....which I don't know what anyone would have to gain from lying about a spherical earth. I think skepticism is healthy but some take it too far. Suggesting that the earth is flat is suggesting that astronauts (Many of them devout Christians) have observed the curvature of the Earth are going to their graves with a lie. It's just ridiculous nonsense.

You can actually observe a lunar eclipse to demonstrate that the earth is not flat.

Paper, on altitude at which the earth's curvature is obvious, and camera barrel distortions which can give you any curvature you want, if you use the distortions in your pictures.
