So I know, I installed it. You haven’t got a clue do you? We’re not as clueless as FE proponents.

To summarise what that video you posted said, satellites don’t exist, it’s all faked cgi…..& that’s it! There was a short piece at the end about undersea cables which we all know about. But nothing that explains even the slightest thing about how satellite dishes could work with those cables….because they don’t, nor can they. It’s a completely different technology and a completely different communications system.

The conspiracy theorists think that the alleged ‘fake’ satellites are only used for internet & phone communications. That’s rubbish. They are used for satellite home tv amongst other things. And it’s the satellite home tv that makes it easy for the average person to understand about how balloons, masts & undersea cables have absolutely nothing to do with how the signals are received.

Those signals come from an open area of sky in a particular direction for a given satellite at a particular location. No cables feeding to the dish, no balloons to chase around the sky, no masts that high into the sky or in those directions and no undersea cables, because that would require working with masts or hardwired connections to the dish.

The reality is (although I suspect you won’t read this far) one cable comes from the LNB on the dish to the sat box, which has the dual function of sending signals to the box & low voltage power to the LNB, one mains power cable goes to the sat box. And one cable goes to a tv (also powered by one mains power cable) so that a channel can be watched. And that’s it. Nothing else is needed for a home sat tv system to work. No signal cables to the house, no movement of the dish once it is set up, and no communications masts within any distance at all.

Back to topic - show me an evidence for the flat earth. So far you provided none, a total zero. You are not even able to provide a sensible, rational explanation of the claims you wildly throw around, you have no idea what your claims would mean in the practical life. Its not different from saying "unicorns" to any question.

Send a balloon to space with a camera of your choosing (without fish lens, I suppose) and show us what the flat earth looks like. Even children can do it. Buy a telescope and record the balloons that are faking the satellites' orbit. You have so many possibilities to prove at least something. Instead, you have nothing.

I was going to add in a biblical argument because that’s where flat earthers love to try to guilt trip spherical earthers but I didn’t want to offend. I could add a lot more to this but it will all be along the same lines.

For example I told you that Auguste Piccard referred to the earth as a globe. You challenged me to show you where he did this. Amongst other links, I gave you a link to his own book where he clearly refers to the earth as a globe. You chose not to acknowledge that but tried to ridicule anti-flat earth websites. The link to his book is not an anti-flat earth website. You deflected so you wouldn’t have to admit you were wrong.
