One could rightly say that it was not the author’s intention to discuss when it happened or how long it took because there’s zero information on those topics. Obviously with Genesis 1 that’s not the case.

So you got a few paragraphs that mentioned the time that Genesis. Yeah, that was of primary importance, yessirree. The whole Bible depends on that.

Please spare us "with binocs you could sill see the whole thing", no, you can't, the town diappears below the horizon from thebottom, 20X magnification or no. No magicaly appearing "mist". either. Why difffernt time zones? Why does the sun appear to rise and set? Why ships cango from the Atlantic to the Pacific either around Cape Horn, through the Panama Canal, or around the Cape of Good Hope?

Polaris is NOT directly above the North Pole. That is a proven fact. And it moves in constant arc around the north celestial pole, which is another proven fact.

That was one of the very first things I learned about Polaris many years ago. The fact that you didn't know it proves you're not really testing your claims beyond what you want to believe.

You really need to speak with amateur astronomers. They'll put you straight (when they stop laughing at your claims that is!)

Unarguably part of God's design, aren't they? But you won't find them in the Bible, will you? You have to study God's creation to discover them. You wanna know how God desined it, you have to look at the design itself; the Bible is generally silent on the subject. Seems pretty obvious to me.

Yes it is.

No it isn’t. It’s offset. If the earth is flat and the sky rotates around a centre point directly over the North Pole with Polaris at that centre point, then Polaris would not move around the centre point of the sky, which it does in reality.

But since the earth is actually spherical and the earth rotates along its axis running directly from North Pole to South Pole, Polaris also cannot be directly over the North Pole either, because it rotates around the celestial North Pole. Either way Polaris is NOT directly over the North Pole.

You continue to state obviously false information as if you are stating facts.
