While the Earth's rotation does create a small outward "centrifugal force", this force is vastly weaker than the Earth's gravity. Calculations show that the Earth would need to spin over 17 times faster for this centrifugal force to overcome gravity and throw objects off its surface.
How fast would Earth need to spin for humans to be thrown into space?
